 Slides up towards ceiling, less likely to bang heads

 You choose where it sits when open against ceiling,
 As long as it swings within “safety zone”
 Door held by four bar mechanism
 Bearing blocks inside “chase”
 Bars fully stowed in “chase” or bin when door is closed
