Thanks for joining my newsletter!
I am so excited to share some of my favorite recipes with you.
Smoothies and juices are my go-to breakfast and snack foods.
They’re quick and easy, can be prepared ahead of time, and can be
customized to include as many nutrient-packed, gut-healing, and
anti-inflammatory ingredients as you want!

Aside from making mine with dark leafy greens, healthy fats like
avocado, and anti-inflammatory foods like ginger, I also like to add
supplements. It’s a perfect solution for when I’m on the go and find
myself short on time. I’ll throw in a tablespoon or two of
collagen, protein powder for an extra boost, or—my favorite—a
scoop of a daily probiotic powder. If I don’t have any protein powder
readily available, I’ll break open a capsule of Immune Booster and
add that to my smoothie or juice too!

You can add any of these supplements to the recipes in this eBook.
If you don’t have an autoimmune disease, or if you’ve already gone
through 30 days on The Myers Way® and you’re ready to
reintroduce a legume- or rice-based protein powder, you can throw
in a few scoops for flavor and substance. All of these supplements
are available in my online store.

Smoothies
Skin-Clearing Smoothie
• 1 1/2 cups almond milk (or other unsweetened milk substitute)
• 2 purple kale stalks
• 1 dinosaur kale stalk
• 1 frozen banana
• 1/2 cup frozen berry mix
• 1 tsp coconut oil
• 1 Tbsp almond butter
• 1 tsp ground flax seeds

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender. Add more liquid as needed for desired consistency.

Doctor-Designed Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

• 1 1/2 cups unsweetened flax milk


• 1/2 cup frozen mango
• 1/2 cup fresh papaya
• 1/4 cup walnuts
• 1/2 inch ginger root
• 1/2 inch turmeric root
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 Tbsp chia seeds
• 1 Tbsp flax seeds
• 5000mg L-glutamine
• 1/4 tsp Complete Probiotic powder

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender in the order given.

Avocado Melon Smoothie

• 1/2 cup cantaloupe


• 1/2 cup frozen banana slices
• 1 large handful of spinach
• 1/4 avocado
• Coconut milk, as needed
• Ice, as needed

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Detoxifying Berry Cleanse


• 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
• 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
• 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
• Handful of spinach
• The Myers Way® Cleanse Protein Powder*
• Coconut milk, as needed

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Simple Cleanse
• Large handful of spinach or baby kale
• 1/2 banana
• 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
• The Myers Way® Cleanse Protein Powder*
• Coconut milk, as needed

Dr. Myers’ Favorite Gut-Healing Smoothie
• 1/2-1 cup almond milk (or other unsweetened milk substitute)
• 1/4 tsp Complete Probiotic Powder
• 5000mg L-Glutamine
• 3 red kale stalks
• 3 dinosaur kale stalks
• 1/2 cup frozen organic berry mix (raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries)
• Mend Protein Powder*

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Purple Passion Smoothie

• 3/4 cup coconut milk (or other unsweetened milk substitute)


• Mend Vanilla Protein Powder*
• 2 cups purple kale
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 cup frozen blueberries
• 1 tablespoon avocado
• 1/4 tsp Complete Probiotic Powder

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender.

*If you are ready to introduce grains and legumes back into your diet, or if you are not following The
Myers Way® Autoimmune Protocol, I recommend the following protein powders:
-Mend Protein Powder: Great for healing a leaky gut and reducing inflammation in the body.
-The Myers Way® Cleanse: For weight loss and detoxification.
-Pea Protein: For an extra boost of protein.

If you are following The Myers Way® Autoimmune Protocol, simply replace the protein powder with
a scoop of Collagen Hydrolysate.

Kale Mint Lemongrass Smoothie
• 1 cup almond milk (or other unsweetened milk substitute)
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 very large handful of baby kale
• 6 mint leaves
• 1 inch lemongrass
• 6 ice cubes

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

• 1 cup canned or fresh pumpkin


• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (try Vanilla Mend for a gut-healing smoothie, Vanilla Cleanse for
detoxification, or Vanilla Pea Protein for an extra protein boost)
• 1/2 frozen banana
• 1/2 cup almond milk (or other unsweetened milk substitute)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp nutmeg

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until banana is completely blended.
Serve chilled.

Juices
Cucumber Melon Slushie with Mint

• 1 melon (cantaloupe, honeydew, or ambrosia melon), sliced and peeled


• 1 cucumber, sliced lengthwise and ends discarded
• 3 cups ice
• Mint leaves for garnish

Method: Juice the melon and cucumber in a juicer. Combine the juice with the ice in a blender. Use a
cheesecloth or fine sieve to strain the pulp, or use as is with the pulp. Pour into glasses and garnish
with mint.

Agua Fresca
• 3 cups melon (watermelon or cantaloupe)
• 1 1/2 cups sparkling water
• Juice from 1 large lemon
• Mint leaves for garnish

Method: Puree melon in a blender or food processor. Use a cheesecloth or fine sieve to strain the
pulp, or use as is with the pulp. In a pitcher, mix melon puree, sparkling water, and lemon juice.
Pour into glasses and garnish with mint.

Healthy Whole Veggie Juice

• 2 cucumbers
• 1 green apple
• 1 lemon
• 1/2-1 inch ginger root
• 2 stalks kale or 1 cup spinach
• Herbs: basil, mint, parsley, cilantro, fennel (your choice!)
• 2 tablespoons Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate
• 1/4 teaspoon Complete Probiotic Powder
• Water, as needed

Method: Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender, adding water as needed. Use a cheese-
cloth or fine sieve to strain the pulp, or use as is with the pulp.

Organic Green Margarita Juice


• 1 large bag of organic baby spinach
• 2 organic limes
• 2 organic gala apples
• 1 handful of organic cilantro
• 2 large organic cucumbers

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer.

Organic Fresh Beet, Carrot, Kale, & Ginger Juice

• 6 carrots
• 4 celery stalks
• 1 cucumber
• 2 beets
• 2 beet tops (the greens from the beets)
• 1 red apple
• 1 large handful baby kale
• 1/4 - 1/2 inch of ginger

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer in the order listed.

Papaya Green Juice


• 1 cucumber
• 5 carrots
• 5 red Swiss chard leaves and stalks
• 5 celery stalks
• 1 gala apple
• 1/2 small organic papaya, peeled, with seeds removed.

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer.

Key Lime Lemongrass Mint Juice
• 1 cucumber
• 6 celery stalks
• 1 gala apple
• 1 key lime
• 1/2 inch lemongrass
• 5 mint leaves

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer.

Beet & Carrot Juice

• 1 apple
• 1 beet root
• 6 carrots
• 1 large celery stalk
• 3 cups spinach
• 1 whole lemon, peeled (or 3 Tbsp lemon juice)
• 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer.

Carrot Apple Ginger Juice


• 5-6 large carrots, chopped into 1 inch pieces
• 1 apple, cored and chopped
• 3 inch ginger, unpeeled

Ginger Green Juice

• 3/4 inch ginger root, peeled


• 4 kale stalks
• 1 small cucumber
• 1 celery stalk
• 1/2 lemon, peeled
• 1/2 green apple

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer. Use a cheesecloth or fine sieve to strain the pulp, or use
as is with the pulp.

Everything Organic Green Juice


• 5 carrots
• 5 strawberries
• 1 head of broccoli
• 5 Swiss chard leaves and stalks
• 1 gala apple
• 1 cucumber
• 1/4 inch ginger

Method: Juice all ingredients in a juicer.
