10 Little Monkeys Jumping On the Bed
Game Set Up:
• Begin by printing and laminating a game board for each player.
• Then print and laminate the monkey cards (print multiple copies of each page if you’re
playing with a large group)
• Cut out the monkey cards and place in a pile in the center and you’re ready to play!

How to Play:
• There are several different variations of this game, depending on the age and ability
of your kids and what skills you’d like to practice
• For young kids (PreK and K), players take turns rolling a die and placing that number of
monkeys on their bed. The first player to collect exactly 10 monkeys is the winner!
• Older kids can play a more challenging variation using 2 dice.
o Players take turns rolling 2 dice. Then they add, subtract, multiply or divide
(depending on what you want to practice) the two numbers rolled.
o If the answer is even, they place a monkey on their bed
o If the answer is odd, it’s the next player’s turn
o The first player to collect exactly 10 monkeys on their bed is the winner!
• Another variation is to play with a deck of cards (face cards removed except
for Ace which equals 1). Then red cards represent negative numbers and black
cards represent positive numbers. To play, kids draw 2 cards and perform the
chosen operation. If the answer is even, they add a monkey; if it is odd, they do not.
Again, the first player to collect exactly 10 monkeys is the winner!
