OLCA , opens it’s doors to Learning Advanced Technology

Our Lady of Caysasay Academy (OLCA) continues to use innovative teaching methods
to serve students better. In partnership with TechFactors, Inc., the school is working on
showcasing a different level of technology to the students; the wide field of robotics and
advanced technology.

TechFactors, Inc. founded in 2004 as an advocacy to improve our country’s education


system in the fields of ICT and Computing, English, and Mathematics, with officers namely
Amado T. Tadena, Armando Codera, Jr., Jaime DL. Caro, PhD, David Michael F. Shinyo, and
Anna T. Pichayis is in partnership with the school into bringing the ICT curriculum ‘to the 21st
century’. Advanced Programming, Advanced Photoshop and Robotics being the major foci
opens new doors for BYTES members with interest in Artificial Intelligence and Information
and Communications Technology.

The TechFactors Team is said to only accommodate BYTES members from the 7th
graders to 10th graders. Allynah Beatrice E. De Castro, BYTES President for S.Y. 2019 – 2020,
stated that Grades 7 and 8 members would acquire knowledge about Advanced Photoshop, and
Robotics for Grades 9 and 10. The first session is to start on November 26, 2019.
