August has many stories and new experiences.

there was one experience that made me feel like a real

student

where at that time I followed the call for a peaceful action carried out by all students from every
university in North Sulawesi.

although at that time there was a bit of disappointment in my heart because we were not allowed to
carry the name of our alma mater in the action, but it did not reduce our enthusiasm for participating in
the action.

We joined one of the major organizations in Indonesia that had branches in each province, namely the
Indonesian Christian Student Movement Organization, where I was also one of the leaders in the
organization.

At that time various groups of students gathered at the North Sulawesi provincial council office to voice
their aspirations.

at that time I was given the opportunity by the head of the branch of the Indonesian Christian student
movement to give speeches about the bill on corruption eradication commission which is currently a
controversy in the community.

I am very happy because I was able to voice the aspirations of the people, even though we had pushed
each other with the police and had been hit by tear gas we were still excited.

and even then I remembered the words of Mr. Bung Karno that students are the mind and heart of the
community. This was my first experience in the world of students and activists. After the action we had
carried out, we provided solutions to the people so that we not only boasted but We provide solutions
to what we say
bulan agustus mempunyai banyak cerita dan pengalaman-pengalaman baru. ada satu pengalaman yang
membuat saya merasa menjadi seorang mahasiswa yang sesungguhnya

dimana saat itu saya mengikuti seruan aksi damai yang di laksanakan seluruh mahasiswa dari tiap
universiats yang ada di sulawesi utara.

meskipun saat itu ada sedikit kekecewaan dalam hati saya karena kami tidak di ijinkan untuk membawa
nama almamater kami dalam aksi tersebut, namun tidak mengurangi semangat kami untuk mengikuti
aksi tersebut.

kami bergabung dengan salah satu organisasi besar yang ada di indonesia yang mempunyai cabang di
tiap-tiap provinsi yaitu organisasi gerakan mahasiswa kristen indonesia, di mana saya juga termasuk
salah satu pemimpin dalam organisasi tersebut.

saat itu berbagai kalangan mahasiswa berkumpul di kantor dewan provinsi sulawesi utara untuk
menyuarakan aspirasi mereka.

saat itu saya di berikan kesempatan oleh ketua cabang gerakan mawasiswa kkristen indonesia untuk
berorasi mengenai rancangan undang-undang komisi pemberantasan korupsi yang saat ini menjadi
kontroversi di kalagan masyarakat.

saya sangat merasa senang karena bisa menyuarakan aspirasi masyarakat, meskipun sempat saling
dorong dengan aparat kepolisisan dan sempat terkena gas air mata kami tetap semangat.

saat itupun saya teringat kata-kata dari bapak bung karno bahwa mahasiswa adalah akal dan hati dari
masyarakat ini adalah pengalaman pertama saya dalam dunia mahasiswa dan aktivis yang pasti setelah
aksi yang telah kami laksanakan kami memberikan solusi kepada rakyat sehingga kami tidak hanya
berkoar-koar tapi kami memberikan solusi dari apa yang kami suarakan
