With the intention of the school to offer a program leading to the degree of Doctor of
Medicine (MD), a feasibility study is needed to provide an objective analyses to help
determine the need for and viability of the proposed new program. Thus, the research
Center will be distributing survey questionnaires to the different hospitals, clinics and
within the province and neighboring provinces of Isabela, Ifugao, Quirino, and
elsewhere who have access to the school.
In this connection, may I ask your good office the amount of five thousand six hundred
thirty (P5,630.00) to cover our expenses in doing the study. Attached is the budget
information.

Support for students is also one of the aspects of HEIs that are looked into accreditation by almost
all accrediting agencies such as the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on
Accreditation (PACU-COA) and the Commission on Higher Education(CHED), and other members of the
Federation of Accrediting Associations of the Philippines (FAAP). This concern for student support services
only underscores that the students must be at the core of any HEI’s educational program.
The extensiveness and functionality of the Student Services Program (SSP) of PLT College were
evaluated in a survey conducted by Dr. Bonifacio Ramos in 2013. It has been five years since.
Expectedly, improvement in the implementation of the SSP of PLT College has been effected through the
years after the 2013 study. This present evaluative study is, therefore, necessary.
In this connection, May I ask your good office the amount of one thousand six hundred seventy
five (P1,675.00) to cover our expenses in doing the study. Attached is the budget information.

The organizing committee of the National Coalition on Indigenous Peoples Higher Education
(NiCHE) will have its 3rd national conference on September 5-7, 2018 to be held at Sacred Heart Center,
Saint Mary’s University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. The theme of the conference is: “Indigenous
Cultural Communities and Higher Education: Innovating Learning Spaces for Indigenous
Creativities”. Both national conference and congress are expected to be participated in by academicians,
educational policy makers, researchers, students, and other enthusiasts as well.
A pledge of commitment will be signed by new attendees which will entitle them later to become
members of said national coalition doing PIs and ICC initiatives. As a gesture of our involvement, may I
