A. Department of Education (DepEd)

1. Preschool Service Contracting Scheme - A six month period of schooling for preschool entrance who
was not accommodated during the opening of classes which starts October.
2. Pre-Assessment Tools for Five-Year Preschool Students via Play (PATFYOPEP) - A tool that helps
determine children’s prior knowledge before entering Preschool Demo Teaching on the K to 12
Curriculum

B. Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

1. Centers of Excellence (COEs) - Center of Excellence (COE) refers to a department within a higher
education institution, which continuously demonstrates excellent performance in the areas of
instruction, research and publication, extension and linkages and institutional qualifications. It aims to
sustain/develop excellence of higher education institutions (HEIs) by enhancing their teaching, research
and service programs to further nation building and national development.
2. 2019 Foreign Scholarship and Training Programs (FSTP)
Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) Programme offered by University of Brunei for S.Y.
2019-2020 – The MPPM is a 12 – month graduate degree progam where the students will spend one
semester in UBD and a subsequent semester in one in the partner policy schools in the United States of
America.
