1.Is the project useful for your economic English improvement?

This project was pretty useful, I learned a lot of new economic terms and I have read
interesting articles.
2.How many new words have you learnt? List at least 10.
 Cash-flow - diferența dintre încasările și plățile curente ale unei întreprinderi
 Wholesale – vanzare de produs angros
 Grant - subventie
 Overdraft - imprumut pe cardul de debit
 Revolving - Credit cu reinnoire automata.
 Dumping - Vânzare a mărfurilor pe piaţa externă la preţuri mai scăzute decât acelea
de pe piaţa internă şi de pe piaţa mondială,
 Offshore - bani investiți în altă țară.
 Bootstrapping - Deschiderea unei afaceri cu fonduri putine
 Crowdfunding - tehnică de finanțare a proiectelor folosind resurse online
 Venture – Afacere noua care are riscuri

I used around 6 dictionaries. The most used ones:

 www.dexonline.ro
 www.businessdictionary.com
 www.oxforddictionaries.com
I have used these dictionaries because there are the most accurate and have the best
translation and explanation of the terms.
5.What did you discover by means of this project?
Through this project I read articles about the possibilities to open your own business, how to
effectively invest money and how the global economy works. I noticed that there are an
infinite number of economic terms.
6.Do you find such articles containing English economic term difficult to understand? Why
or why not?

In my opinion, such articles containing economic terms are not difficult to understand. Many
words that I found were already known and the unknown words were easily predicted from
content.
