Behavioral Conduct and analyze foraging experiments relating to reaction distance, angle of
attack, burst attack speed, capture rates and handling time. Competent in infrared
digital recording, light intensity measurement and ImageJ analysis.

Physiological Electroretinography (ERG) for deepwater and littoral fishes for collection of
visual sensitivity data. Light intensity data collection and analysis.

Collection Deepwater trawl collection and successful captive husbandry of deepwater fishes.
Experienced with gillnetting, fyke netting, seining and electrofishing. Long-term
mark-recapture studies.

Laboratory RT-PCR, PCR, Western blots, transfections, gel electrophoresis, UV/Vis


spectroscopy, protein assays, densitometry, cell culture, genotyping, plasmid
purification, titer preparation, detailed protocol preparation, colony maintenance,
necropsy, SigmaPlot, Excel and Prism software competency

Protection/scientific oriented research on Crotalus horridus in collaboration, and
