Reflection on my presentation

I was nervous going into this project because I had picked a piece that I had never done any

research on before. As I mentioned at the end of the slides, I’ve loved this song ever since I can

remember hearing it. I was worried that listening to it on repeat and having to stop and start in

small chunks would ruin it for me, but I think if anything it has made me more appreciative of it.

Knowing the history behind the piece and its composer just makes me love it more and has me

even more excited about going to see the live performance of the piece with the Utah symphony.

This project has given me roots that I can draw back to for my history class that I’m also taking

this semester and for future projects or facts to come in the future.
