First Glance at Hollywood

As this word is full of the things that are to do. Different people have different activities
and different habits to do among these one is movie making and acting. Different events
all over the world held each and every day related to these movie-making contests and film
shoes. Recently I attend an event named as “First Glance at Hollywood” held in
Philadelphia. This was a short movies festival or can say a contest among the different
movie makers. This was a festival arranged and sponsored by the different companies of
loss angles and Philadelphia some of among are as follow:

 HBO films
 YORK studio
 Greek film center

And many other spencer’s have sponsored this mega event. Since I am interested in
movie making and scriptwriting that’s why I choose this event to visit. So that I can have
meet up with the many successful directors and moviemakers and many other films
industry character from which I can have guideline and can further go up with my work.
The festival was well arranged, and it was a good time that I have spend and learned a lot
about my career. Here the general networking that was made was really awesome. Different
movie directors were done among them the few are mentioned as follows:

 Phillip G. Carroll Jr.

 Savannah Dooley

 David Vincent Bob

These are the famous short movies directors and luckily all were there too. This event was
a very successful event and a very beneficial for me I have never enjoyed like this. First of
all, when I entered there was announcement of the best movie makes and they were
awarded with the shields and cash prices. Some short movies were played there at a time
interval to keep the festival’s char. As “The Honey Moon Phase” started playing everyone
was shouting the name of its director. He presented a beautiful cinematographic story
which everyone was loving. After this, there was the introductory session. First Savannah
Dooley who is a well know director was in front of me and I am also well inspired by his
work. I went to him and say Hi to him and introduce myself as a candidate willing to work
with him. Along with him, there was Phillip G. Carroll Jr. who is also a well-known director
too. I showed them my work that was some scripts that I have write also along it was short
movies that I have directed. Both of they were well inspired by my work. Phillip G. Carroll
Jr. was that much impressed by my work that he gave me his secretary number to call him
and have a meeting with him so that he can guide me more about movies.

Then further one person in this festival gave me his LinkedIn account and ask me
to consult whenever I want. There were also many other conversations on many topics like
one of my favorite topics that I discussed with a person was the facts that can be added in
action movies that can made people attractive about a certain film. Also, we discussed the
topic about youth interest in Fiction movies. Since we can see that most youth are well
interested toward the fiction movies. After this event, I talk to David Vincent Bob who
gave me his number in this film festival, and I send him my different task that I have
performed. I can never hesitate to say that it was best ever event that I have attend ever and
this was time where I started my career.
