Dear Student, Parent, and/or Guardian,

Welcome to the beginning of a new semester at St. Joseph Academy!!! I am excited to have the
opportunity to be a role model and positively shape your student’s life as their Health & Physical
Education Teacher. Parental support, communication, and flexibility are essential for a
successful education as I look forward to working with both you and your son/daughter this year.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that all students and parents check daily for schedule changes,
grades, handouts, & assignments on our school website www.sjaweb.org.

All students have been given a copy of the course syllabus, gym rules, and classroom procedures.
I highly recommend that each parent takes time to read and understand the expectations. The
student should keep a copy in the student’s folder for future reference. Please review the
syllabus and expectations each student has been given, sign below, and return this sheet to
me on or before 8/20/2014. Thank you in advance for your support and ability to work together
at SJA.

Respectfully,
Sherri A. Nowatzki

Cheating is the act of gaining unfair advantage or misrepresenting one’s knowledge. Dishonesty
demeans who we are and for what we stand. Jesus is the chief teacher and model of our school,
with honesty and integrity being the two cornerstones upon which St. Joseph Academy was
founded. By signing the honor code, I will strive to uphold those values and to help others do
the same.
