Acknowledgement

Practice teaching marks both an end of a journey and start of new

adventure in my life. It is an adventure I have always feared yet eagerly
wanted to start. Ever since I took this course, I have been anticipating
the day that I'd finally stand in front of my own class and be a teacher
myself. Now that I've finally been through all of it, I can proudly say that
facing and surviving its day to day ups and downs will never be possible
without the help, love, and inspiration coming from the people who have
been with me all the way. So, I would like to take this opportunity to
express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of them.

To my best friends, Darwin, Hanah, Anafe and Jared, who never

left me in spite of how rarely we see each other, thank you for boosting
my confidence to see things through no matter how tough things get.

To my PISAY Loves, thank you for the unique "mix" of knowledge,

close family ties, and companionship that you have shared with me. You
made my college life full of adventure and colorful. I will cherish every
moment that we have with each other.

To Silent Type, Team NAME and Team Sawi, for the adventures full
of surprises and experiences we shared and cherished together.

To my professors in BUCE, thank you for empowering me through

your trainings, tips, and words of wisdom that kept me afloat in times
when I thought my boat was sinking as a practice teacher. Those things
really meant a lot.

To Department of Science and Technology- Science Education

Institute, my sincerest thank you for the scholarship which supports me
financially and enables me to pursue this profession. As scholars, I was
able to do my best in your studies, be productive through my knowledge
in science and technology and drive myself to be successful in my chosen
field of specialization. You are one of the reasons why I was able to stay
focused, go after my dreams and keep moving toward my goals.

To the BUCE-ILS High School Department administration and

staff, thank you for accepting us with open arms since day one. In

particular, I wish to thank Professor Merriam P. Maldo, the unit head, for
her vote of confidence upon approving our stay here in this challenging
yet humbling school and checking our condition all the time and for
nurturing us with teaching strategies and relevant pieces of advice.

To my co-student teachers, Teacher Gloria and Teacher Joyce,

thank you for all of the support you’ve given when I am the one who is
teaching. I am very grateful that we have each other backs to fulfil our
duty as teachers.

To Grade 7-Venus students, the most active and attentive students

I have ever come across. I want you to know that it is in your class that I
felt I was at my true best in teaching the subject I love, which is Science.
Thank you for bringing out the best in me as your student teacher.

To Professor Celeste O. Vega, my ever understanding, trusting and

supportive supervising instructor, I offer you my heartfelt thanks for
letting me deepen my knowledge as a teacher. From the way you look, to
the way you meticulously handle your class and things; you became a
part of the ideal teacher I wish to become someday. You did bring out the
best in me by simply letting me become the real me; inside and out.

To my sisters and brother, Ate Ara, Ate Saira and Megan, thank
you for supporting me financially and emotionally and for being proud in
every achievement I received. To Jay, Cheska Mae and my niece Czea
Aja, thank you for cheering me always when I feel homesick when I call.

To my ever-supportive and loving mother, Salvacion, my heartfelt

and sincerest thank you for everything you have done. You are my very
best inspirations in every challenges and achievements I came across in
my life. I offer you this achievement to you my dearest mother. Without
you, I cannot reach my dreams.
