On last Thursday (24/10/2019), we implemented two practices:Orchid breeding and mini gardens.

We arrived at the farm as early as 8:00 a.m., before starting the orchid breeding activity we
were given a briefing and knowledge of the orchid to get acquainted with it before breeding.
Among the briefings were the types of orchids, methods of reproduction of the orchids, features of the
Orchid, the names of the parts of the orchid, and the disadvantages and advantages of the Orchid. We
then started orchid replanting using stems. We each filled the bricks into the pots and inserted the rooted
orchids into the pots. Bricks are used because bricks can absorb the moisture that orchids need to grow.
Then we sorted the pots into groups and watered them.

When we are done with this practice we continue with the second practice, the mini garden. The
same thing happened before we started this practice. We were briefed first. Then we were asked to
choose the type of tree we would plant in the mini garden. However, there are plants that are avoided for
consumption, such as shrubs. We were then asked to arrange the plant before it was planted to serve as
a mini garden, the purpose being to create a mini garden. then when the project was completed we
moved to the actual mini garden site and dug holes to plant the tree in accordance with the deco we had
designed and designed.

We Successfully completed the above-mentioned practice at 11 am. Many of the challenges and
knowledge we have gained from such practical, infinite Thanks to our field instructor and our beloved
Lecturer, Dr. Enio Kang. We also do not forget our partners in the cooperation we have made during the
imple mentation of the practical.
