What is humanism education?

Humanism Education is a person centered education, where this is an approach of realizing and approaching a person’s capabilities and
creativity.

There are 5 principles under humanism education

1. Students' learning should be self-directed.


Students able to choose what they want to learn.

2. Schools should produce students who want and know how to learn.
The goal of education is to foster the student’s desire to learn and teach them how to learn

3. The only form of meaningful evaluation is self-evaluation.


The grades are irrelevant, the self -evaluation is way important that the grades.

4. Feelings, as well as knowledge, are important in the learning process.


Emotion is play an important role in a learning process.

5. Students learn best in a nonthreatening environment.


The learning institution such as school should provide a secure environment for students to learn.
