My Pledge as an EcE Student

I am an Electronics Engineering student. In my curriculum, I am honored but also humbled to be

accepted; to it I owe student responsibilities that I am ready to comply.

As an Electronics Engineering student, I will abide by the student handbook rules and regulations. To the
people who protect our school and maintain our facilities, as custodian or security guard, I will give the
utmost of respect and obedience.

When asked, my seatwork and returned quizzes shall be shared with no hesitation for the students in
need. From my subject proficiency, the obligation to use it well in helping my fellow engineering
students; and there will be no such thing as stupid questions.

Being proud of the achievements of the DOST Scholars or likewise, I will support the preservation of
good grades and the reputation of any engineering student who is praiseworthy; but I will not be
reluctant, as responsibility demands, from exposing the truth regarding teammates who, due to
tardiness, has shown himself uncooperative of the group projects.

As seniors before me have encouraged and proven use the principles of Pomodoro technique and the
revelations of Google search and have rendered usable to students YouTube’s vast resources of tutorial
videos and study music so do I dedicate myself to the downloading, sharing and dissemination of
engineering solution manuals and E-Books used by our instructors, and especially to the mentoring of
underclassmen of my curriculum with all its hacks and pro-tips.

To my classmates I vow, at the same time, I ask of them, mindfulness and unbiased checking,
thoughtfulness and respect, and devotion to the standards and the dignity of our student handbook,
with the consciousness, always, that our special expertise carries with it the obligation to help struggling
classmates with utmost enthusiasm.

So let me in guard.
