‘Prefer a loss to a dishonest gain; the one brings pain at the moment; the other for all time’

it has been a
motto throughout my life be it my academics or my personal life I have always thought of maintaining a
relationship or choosing a career with complete honesty today when I apply for your university I have
thought of a million things and frankly I have been through a lot of dilemma but at last it all boiled down
to one single thing my passion to help people be it through medicine or at a personal level I have always
had a helping hand.

I understood at an early age the need of medicines as even I have experienced the importance of it, now
when I’m a pharmacist while learning about medicines and the chemical compositions, I feel I have the
potential to learn more and hence I even reviewed an article in college magazine on the topic ‘the most
gruesome parasites: Neglected tropical disease’ through which I learned that there is a large amount of
scope in the pharmaceutical field in which graduates like me are inclined to fasten the pace and cure the
world from deadly diseases.

Along the years living in a country with 2nd largest world’s population I have known a few things one of
them include the negligence towards health for minimal reasons some of them would be money or
unavailability of proper resources and many other such reasons for which I even volunteered in some of
the camps related to health sciences and even organized some which lead me to thinking, how can I
improve the condition of my country?, the thought of which motivated me to improve my knowledge
and what better than studying from somewhere where the country provides free health care to citizens
and takes care of them in a much better way.

While comparing the avenues of specialization I felt that your university being a forerunner in my field
would be an ideal ground for further studies. The environment your college provides with different
opportunities related to respective fields with a lot of support among the research and development
which has my core interest. With a degree from your university it will also provide me opportunities to
interact with people from diverse nationalities and cultural background. Health sciences being an ever-
growing field develops my enthusiasm towards it to learn more, to experiment more, to innovate more
and learning from the highly qualified faculties at your university would be a great opportunity for me to
fruitfully achieve my career goals and objectives.

I have grown in a land where serving is considered as a religious practice, for me it is with education; the
knowledge I gain from your university would be worthwhile invested for the benefits of people and with
an ever-growing perspective of health sciences I wish to serve it with the experiments and innovations I
attempt in future and make my education a worthwhile attempt.
