How to Use
Choose a book to read with the class. There are several
books about flowers! I included a list of possible choices on
page 6. This flower-shaped foldable will allow your students
to organize pictures and/or words to describe the life cycle
of a plant. Several versions are included to meet the needs
of your kids. The first one includes the pictures already in
the correct order and already on the flower. The second one
has cut and paste seeds/flowers that are already in the
correct order. The last one includes pictures for all of the
seeds/flowers in a random order. If these are too many
choices for your kids, you could have them use 4 pictures
(instead of 8) and have them paste them on every other
petal, using the blank petals to label the parts.

A blank page has been added to the end to allow students to

write or reflect on their learning.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut out the flower shape
on the bold lines.
2. Snip each dotted line so
the “petals” can fold
towards the center of the
flower.
3. Glue the plants/seeds,
one on each “petal.”
