33 : The Federation of Association of Private Schools and

34 : Administration (FAPSA) gave their side opposing the sexual


35 : orientation, gender quality and expression (SOGIE) Equality bill.

36 : FAPSA President Eleazardo Kasilag said pertaining to the member

37 : of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer that this people

38 : have gone overboard. He also stated, their schools do not want to

39 : change their vision, objective or adjust their understanding on

40 : morals. He also clarified, though some of the FAPSA officers and

41 : teachers are part of LGBTQ community, they are still well-

42 : respected but this SOGIE Equality Bill is bending them too far.

51 : The Regulatory Compliance Board (RCB) has reminded the

52 : public areas are not drinking places. In an operation Sunday night,

53 : September 15, the RCB along with the Cagayan De Oro

54 : Police Office and the Roads and traffic Administration (RTA),

55 : implemented city ordinance 5133-55 ans or memorandum circular

56 : of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).


57 : The ordinance is to prohibit drinking or consuming alcoholic liquor

58 : or beverages in parks, road, alleys or sidewalk. The chairperson

59 : lawyer Edgardo Uy said, “let’s just remind that business

60 : establishments should be responsible to follow the given

61 : ordinance of intoxicating beverages, especially in the minority. If

87 : Hong Kong Protester have been vandalizing the city’s subway

88 : station in response to what they see as excessive police

89 : aggression and the transit authorities cooperation with not police

90 : for over a week. The latest destructive act took place on

91 : September 1, angry stormed the Tung Chung subway station. On

92 : September 8 protesters burned a subway exit at the central

93 : station leaving thousands of peaceful protesters vulnerable to

94 : arrest. Protesters began vandalizing the city subway after a large

95 : number of not police stormed the Prince Edward station with

96 : batons and pepper spray on 31 of August. More than 50 civilians

97 : were arrested and seven were hospitalized. Soon after, a rumour

98 : that three were missing went viral and protesters began directing
