FACTORS AFFECTING THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCES

OF THE SELECTED CCJ WORKING-STUDENTS

BACKGROUND
There are really lucky students who are born with comfortable and financially
stable life. Which every parents or guardians can provide everything to their children
or siblings. Wherein they can give nutritious food and comfortable shelter. And
specially, they can support the educational needs of their children. So, what about
the students who really want to go to school but they don’t have enough money?
What happened to them? Suddenly some of them are Bystanders and some of them
stop schooling and find job to really help provide the needs of their beloved family.
But there are also some of them who have the courage to pursue their dreams and
really want to keep their dreams high and alive. Who wants to help providing the
needs of their family without stopping and reaching the goal of finishing their
Bachelor’s Degree in College. They are what we so called WORKING-STUDENTS.

In our Pamantasan which is the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. We

can never really tell that all of the students are financially stable. There are students
who have helped by their given scholarships and there are also WORKING-
STUDENTS. So what is a WORKING-STUDENTS? They are the ones who are
currently employed in different companies outside while studying. If they are
currently employed and doing other duties that they have to do in their works. The
questions are. Can they do the job required in school? Can they really focused on
everything they do even if it’s in work or in school? Or how working in companies
affects the academic performances of every WORKING-STUDENTS? In this study
these questions will be given the answers and we can truly understand the struggles
and the hindrances along the way of being a WORKING-STUDENTS. But first here
are the examples of successful people who are WORKING-STUDENTS before.
