AFFIDAVIT

I, LEONARDO RAZONABE, Filipino, of legal age, single and a resident of

Brgy. Cattaran, Solana, Cagayan, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, do hereby state that:

1. On June 22, 2019 at around 05:45 in the morning, I and my live-in

partner Jenalyn Saquing went to the farm owned by her mother located
in Malabbac, Iguig, Cagayan in which we are in actual possession and
cultivation to check our planted yellow corn;

2. To our surprise, Alan Redondo was there and caught in the act
destroying our yellow corn plants;

3. Upon seeing him, Jenalyn told him to stop destroying our yellow corn
plants and to leave our land, but he ignored our pleas and argued with
Jenalyn and even told us: “kaya kong bayaran ang mga mais nyo”;

4. While Jenalyn was arguing with Alan, we were shocked when Madelyn
appeared and uttered: “Kung hindi nyo tatanggalin ang mga
pananim nyo sa lupa ko ay papatayin kita” referring to Jenalyn and
suddenly drew her bolo and tried to hack Jenalyn;

5. Fortunately Jenalyn evaded when I pulled her away;

6. To avoid further injury and commotion, I dragged Jenalyn away and

immediately proceeded at the Iguig police station to report the incident.
We were also advised to settle our issues before the Barangay, but to no
avail;

7. Prior to the incident, several confrontations were also terminated on

issues of land ownership and possession over the parcel of land we are
cultivating where Alan and Madelyn insisted on their ownership rights
despite the title in the name of Jenalyn’s mother, Julieta Batang;

I am executing this affidavit to attest to the veracity of the

foregoing and to support the case filed by Jenalyn Saquing against
Alan Redondo and Madelyn Redondo.
