--- I woke up around 8:00 in the morning

waking up on mornings and going to

lazily and went into the shower again for

After a while of driving, I entered the large

means so there’s no need to explain

means “WORST”.
I parked at my own parking space and
noticed that my “friends” haven’t arrived
yet because their parking spaces beside
me were empty. I shrugged and went out,
hearing the annoying screams of the girls
who saw me. I locked my car before going
away, keeping my face blank and uncaring,
and a flock of girls gawking over me as
they followed much to my annoyance.
This section is composed of only 24
students who stand out from the rest. They
were sorted out, according to their
popularity, family’s wealth and power. And
this section has some members of the
POWERFUL 10. It is the ranking of students
that exceeds nicely on every aspect
involving school such as sports, club,
academic and etc. They are known all over
the school and popular for it. I entered my
classroom, feeling my classmate’s eyes on
me but I ignored them as I sat down on my
seat. And this will be a loonngg tiring day
again.

The bald prof was in the middle of the
discussion when familiar voices at the door
interrupted. And by hears of it, they were
arguing about something stupid. I crossed
my arms as I sat back, watching our
professor’s eyebrows twitch in annoyance.
“We ran out of stock of sweets at home
and I ran to the nearest sweets store to
buy some. It wasn’t my fault you guys

Luna University.” with that, the room got

But a transfer student who has managed to
enter this section at this time? Who is this?

Chapter 2
- Alexandria
I never liked noisy people and barbie
bitches. The students in Luna aren't all
good. The school only covering those up
just to maintain the reputation of the
school. Who even heard of a school
without any issues? No one is perfect,
nothing is perfect and prestigious schools
aren't exempted.
But putting that aside, I wish they won't

heads. I shook my head and just stuffed my
earphones and then listened to the music

moment since students are still in classes

After eating I went to the woods and I

shady. I sat at a branch that was enough to

walked a little bit further trying to balance

wandered off.

One week later

my annoyance, I still haven't any idea what
to do about it and worst case is that I'm

I gritted my teeth, glaring at the screen of
the computer. Just then, my phone rang. I
swiped the screen angrily and held it up to
my left ear. ”What do you need now Ac---?”
“Hello there Mortem Reine” a cold voice
from the other side and my eyes widened
at the familiarity I felt.
“Where’s my brother?!” I shouted angrily,
blood rushing to my head as I gripped my
phone tightly.
After a second. I heard him let out a cold
laugh that seemed to be coming from the
depths of the earth. That laugh… “What
you’re thinking is correct, Morteim” he
answered, confirming my thoughts which
fueled my anger more.
“Where is he?!”I shouted viciously. I was
right. The madman who kills my parents
was the same person who kidnapped my
brother. Just what the fxck is he after for?!
How much more does he want to ruin my
life?!
“There’s no need to worry, he’s in good
hands.” He said coldly and that did it.
“In good hands?! Are you fxcking insane
you fxcking madman?! What do you even
want?! I shouted.
“If you want your brother back, come
tomorrow midnight at the old abandoned
building at ****** street. ALONE” he stated.
His voice cold and taunting just like a
devil’s which passes me off more.
He didn’t even wait for my response and
hung up. That bastard!!! Argggg! Ohh I will
hunt you damn sleaze bag! I stood up and
went upstairs and found the four there
already prepared to leave for school for the
other half of the day.
“I’m coming to school” I stated firmly and
left the room for no arguments as I went
up the stairs, feeling their eyes on my back.
I know they want me to stay but they know
how stubborn I am so they didn’t argue
anymore. Good.
I wore a cap to cover my bandaged head.
Good thing it did. Grabbing my bag, I
returned back down and we all left for
school.

As soon as I parked I went out of my car
and went somewhere. Leaving the four
confused but I just waved my hand without
looking, telling them to go on without me
which they did/
I was going to see someone which I failed
to visit earlier just because of laziness,
besides; I only learned that he was
studying in the same school as me just this
morning.
That bastard. He never even told me.
After a few minutes of walking, I finally
reached the room and I didn’t even knock
or be formal as I entered. The teacher
wasn’t present and I found the whole room
in a mess.
The students here were behaving like kids,
except that kids usually throw papers and
these ones throw daggers to each other.
What the hell is wrong with this room? Is
this an assassination classroom or what?
“Stop it guys. We have a visitor.” A guy
with red hair said and I’m assuming he was
the president since his classmates obeyed.
“Ohhh, I know this girl. She’s the only one
that the first ranker of the powerful ten has
ever let go without a bruise” a girl chuckled
and I raised my eyebrows. That again, tsks.
“I am not here for that. I need to speak to
Grey Marshall” I declared and all of them
went quiet once again as their gazes
turned to a sleeping guy at the very back.
Lazy butt.
“I’m sorry but he’s sleeping” the red haired
president said like it was saying that I
should probably come back later. Well, I
ain’t leaving without what I came for.
“No prob…. I’ll wake him up myself” I
declared and before they could even
understand, my dagger was already flying,
straight towards someone’s head.
A hand swiftly caught it before it hit him
though. His head slowly lifted as his gray
eyes looked at me and I smirked.
“Good morning” I greeted as I caught the
dagger he threw back at me, his classmates
was silent.
“What do you need?” he asked me as he
tipped his head to the side. Now we’re
talking.

“I need your help” I immediate down at a
chair in front of him. We were currently
inside an empty classroom at the far end of
the building.
His eyebrows met and he threw me a
questioning look. Well, I have an explaining
to do.
“Rex is involved here. He’s been missing for
two months already.” I said sadly. His face
wore an expression of shock but replaced
by a serious look a minute after which I
already anticipated.
“Who kidnapped him?” he asked trying to
sound calm but it was no use because tone
he used defined the anger he was
suppressing making me warm inside
because it showed how much he cares. It
was a good decision coming from here to
him.
“Well, I only found out who he is just a
couple of hours ago.. It’s the jerk who
murdered our parents” I said. Tears were
clouding my view when I felt his hand
firmly holding mine as I bit my lip.
I decided over something and removed my
cap, a loud curse coming from him. I know
that he knows now who did it and what
happened. He’s smart.
“I-i need your help Kuya. You need to track
me down when I set off the signal.” I said. I
wouldn’t even be asking this favor from
him if it were not for my brother. I need to
be sure that he’ll be fine..
“By what it sounds, I think you want me to
bring the other seven demons. Am I right?”
he uneasily said and I slowly nodded my
head.
“Well, there’s no problem about it at all,
but… I don’t know if I can persuade the
first demon, King.” He said, making me
smile a little.
“Yeah, but remember that he was always
there to help us” I hopefully stated.
The ten demons are the legendary
gangsters in the gangster world. Their
powers and abilities are stronger and the
first, is the most dangerous.
I ranked second. Grey as third demon.
William as the fourth, Rex is the fifth,
Micheal as the sixth, Lemeul as the seventh,
Lyka as the eighth, Kim as the ninth, and
the last one is Patrick. The first is
unidentified. We only know him as a king.
Tears streamed down my cheeks. Grey was
like our elder brother. Rex, Grey, and I treat
each other well. He was the only one who
cared for us besides that old man.
“I-I can’t lose him kuya. I’ll kill myself if he
leaves me” I said and cried uncontrollably.
I’m afraid to be left alone. Rex is so
important to me because he’s my only
brother and we went through the same
pain, he’s the only one I have left besides
the old geezer.
Grey pulled me to a tight embrace and
whispered soothing words to me as he
tried to reassure me, even going to the
extent of being funny which was definitely
not his character and I couldn’t help but
smile through the tears as I hugged him
tighter.
I’m really lucky to have someone like him.
*clap*clap*clap*. We both pulled from the
hug and lloked at the door where the
sound was coming from.
“What a sweet view” he said coldly and
sarcastically.
“You’re misunderstanding things” I coldly
and defensively said, even though deep
inside, I was nervous for a reason as he
gave me a frightening smirk that made me
shiver.
“What are you doing here?” I asked again,
trying to keep myself calm, and telling
myself not to make an argument.
“Nothing, never mind. Just went to see if
you’re fine after the explosion and
unfortunately, you seem fine. You’re even
at school and caught flirting. Geezz.
Seriously?” he said in a disbelieving tone
and that …hurt,
“It’s not like that. I wasn’t flirting or
whatsoever” I said quietly and another
snicker left him.
“Yeah , yeah. If you don’t call that flirting,
let’s just call it bitching around. Yeah?
I balled my hands, finally losing my
composure as anger replaced the hurt that
I felt a few moments ago.
“Fxck it Ace, what the heck?!” I angrily spat
as I stood up and regarded him with a
glare,
“I’m not a bitch and what you saw earlier
was a ---“ he cut me off at mid sentence. “I
don’t give a fxcking care about it” he
snapped.
Without further ado, he suddenly walked
out of the door and went away while I was
left there with mixed emotions. Confusion
topping at all.
That bastard! I want to curse him and
drown him at the bottom of the ocean for
him to be eaten by sharks! “Ace
Mondragon you are so confusing!!!!” I
muttered to myself as my forehead creased.
“I think you both need to talk” Grey stated,
making me look at him.
“What are we supposed to talk about?” I
exclaimed bitterly as I plopped down on
my chair. He laughed and I glared at him.
Why is he laughing? When he noticed me
glaring at him, he raised both of his hands.
“Hey there, easy” he said with a smirk and I
growled. This guys has some guts to fool
around.
“You two are amusing, I don’t know how
long you two even met but I can say that
you two are probably just idiots or you two
are just dense” he said with amusement in
his eyes and I was further confused.
“Stop beating around the bush and say
what you want to say” I tiredly said, resting
my face on my palm as I heard a chortle
coming from him. He really is annoying at
times.
“What I want to say is, before we go for the
battle. Why don’t you talk to him first?”
Chapter 7
-Alexandria
I woke up because of my alarm clock. It’s
10 o’clock pm already. I went to my closet
and slipped into a black outfit with a coat. I
used the pole to get down because I can’t
risk using the elevator. I went to the last
floor and went to where the weapons were.
I wrapped a black belt around my waist
and then placed to high powered guns at
then adding another gun. Peacemaker. I
also grabbed some silencers and hung
bombs and blades on my coat.
Lastly was a bracelet which I placed on my
wrist. Inside the bracelet is a tracking
device.
It was already 11:30. I need to go. And
before going, I checked if a bugger was
placed on the cars and I was right, I bet
trey placed them there to make sure. I
picked a black Porsche after removing the
tracking device from behind the wheel.
Tssss.
I drove off. This is going to be one long
night. At exactly midnight, I stepped inside
the building. Don’t worry, I hid my
weapons.
I stealthily went in. The place was lightened
by the bulbs over head. I saw men with
guns walking along. Time for killing
bullshits. I aimed at the men, good thing I
brought silencer with me and I fired and a
man went down. A guy noticed the man I
shoot and went running towards there.
Next one down, unluckily, someone saw
me and they started firing bullets at me.
Ohhh goodie -__-
I ran to a foundation of the building and
hid there. Time to finish them all. I rolled a
specific bomb at them. It was just the size
of a small pebble. They all stared at it then
laughed. Oh you think it’s amusing eh?
Let’s see.
“Activate bomb number 1” I said and
covered my ear. The little bomb I threw
earlier suddenly exploded. This is just one
of my designs.
I went out form where I was hiding. They
were scattered all over the floor, some
were unconscious and some were dead. I
grabbed the peacemaker from my belt and
held it firmly.
A man wearing a mask which covered his
whole face appeared. I pointed an gun at
him but he just released a laugh. That
laugh! That fxcking voice which haunted
me for years. I gnashed my teeth. I want to
kill him now. I was about to pull the trigger
when he spoke.
“I wouldn’t do that yet if I were you” he
coldly said. My eyebrows shot up.
“And why shouldn’t I kill you?” I furiously
said. He snapped his fingers. Two guys
went in dragging someone with them.
They left the guy slumped on the floor in
front of the masked guy.
I froze when I recognized who it was.
“R-rex?” I shuttered. He’s so beaten up.
“Damn you piece of shit” I angrily spat. He
just pointed a gun at my brother.
“So you will drop your gun, or will I soot
your dear brother?” he asked. Oh shit.
Slowly, lowered the gun and secretly
pressed the button on my bracelet. I need
their help now. Whatever happens to me, I
don’t care. I just want my brother to be
saved. Shutting my eyes, I threw away my
gun.
Suddenly, more men came in, there were
hundreds of them! Shit! “Seize her and
bring her to the room first. I’ll kill them
both later. I still need them though” the
madman ordered. I have no other options,
if I fight, both of us will die
I just allowed them to tie me up and was
thrown to a room with my brother. Fxck I
can’t move! The ropes are too tight. I did
my best sit up straight and faced my
unconscious brother. He was badly bruised.
“Rex”
I whispered and kicked his leg a little hard.
He needs to wake up. Were both tied up. I
kicked him a lot times until he finally
opened his eyes.
There were dark circles under his eyes and
he was thinner than usual. “Re-reine? I-is
that you?” he asked. “Yes big brother.
Please hurry up and try to sit up.” I urged
him.
He obeyed me. “Can you see the hairpin in
my hair? Get it.” I ordered. He did it
without any complains. Good thing his tied
hands were in front of him, unlike mine, it
was my back.
They’ll be here any minute an we need to
get out of these ropes fast. I don’t want to
us to be used against Grey and the others,
when he finally got the hairpin, he looked
at me.
The pin may look ordinary but if you notice
a small button, you’ll know soon that it’s
useful. “Press the button but be careful to
hold it’s end only or you’ll cut yourself.” I
said, he just followed and moments later,
the in produced sharp sides.
“Hurry up” I said and turned my back on
him. He started cutting the ropes on my
hands and a few seconds later, I was free. I
grabbed the hairpin from him and slice
through the ropes which was binding my
feet.
When I was fully freed, I turned to Rex and
sliced the ropes which bound him. At last,
he hugged me tight and I hugged him too,
but I let go when I thought of the others.
“we need to get out of this room before
they come!” I said, keeping my voice down.
“Who’s coming?” he questioned me even
though it seems he has an idea of who
they were.
“Grey and the other demons” I said and
smiled at him. We’ll talk later.
“How are we going to get out of here?” he
asked, I grinned and held up a handful of
little bombs, the size of marbles. He just
smirked. I went to the door and peeked.
There are many of them all right. Before, I
had the chance to throw the bombs,
gunshots rang. They’re hearing. I smirked
and threw the marbles outside and they
rolled to every direction.
“Romania” I said and explosions took my
place. My brother went beside me and we
ran out. I picked up a gun from the floor.
Bodies were lying lifeless around as I
turned and saw Rex was holding a shotgun.
We marched out of the hallway and into
the wide ground of the building. I rolled
another handful of bombs which were red.
“Hi guys” I jovially said. The enemies
turned at us and it’s too late. “Queen” I
said and another continuous explosions
thundered as men flew from every
direction.
I smirked. We both went to the entrance
and waited for the others demons. A few
minutes later, eight figures were outlined
in the dark. But I was freaking surprised
when I saw Ace there.
“W-what are y-you doing here?!”
stammered. Ace just stared at me with his
piercing orbs. “H-he’s the first, Reine. He is
King.” ‘Grey stated. What?! Oh shit!.
“Don’t worry about that now, just prepare
yourselves.” Rex said. We were being
surrounded but we all just smirked and ran
in different directions. Grey passed me a
sword and I used it to slice my enemies.

The edge of the sword was dripping with
blood and I’m splattered with blood, I
smiled to myself and went on until I saw
that fxcking masked madman. I charged at
him, and because he was busy about Rex, I
took the chance.
The sword pierced through his heart. But I
I wasn’t satisfied; I stabbed him continuously
until he was in a pool of blood. And jst as I
promised, I smiled at his head.
But as soon as I turned around, I caught
my breath. A man was pointing a gun at
the demon who was busy killing his preys,
his finger already pulling the trigger.
“N-no!”

I was busy killing this piece of shits when
someone hugged me. It was Reine.
*Bang*Bang*Bang Reine’s eyes widened
and blood dripped from the corner of his
lips. She smiled at me.
Before I can realize what just happened,
her hug loosened and she fell to the floor.
No no !!!!
I rained bullets the person who shot her.
My mind went from overload to blank. All I
want is to kill them all! One by one, I killed
them all. I can’t think of anything but to
crush them all. When every enemy was
down, I rushed to Reine’s side, knelt down
and held her in my arms.
“Fxck it Reine. Don’t you dare. What the
fuck were you thinking?! Damn it!” I said in
frustration. She slowly looked at me.
“We…. Were … even now….. r-right?” she
said in between her gasps of air. “Damn it
Reine. Shut up. Try to leave me and I’ll
follow you to hell!” I said.
I carried her bridal style. I looked at Grey.
“Bring Rex after us” I said as I glanced at
badly bruised brother of Reine. He was
staring at Reine, not wanting to believe
what just happened. I rushed out of the
building and hurriedly placed her at the
back seat of my car before I hurriedly sat at
driver’s seat and sped off to the nearest
hospital.
Why did she have to do that? Damn it! In
five minutes, we were in front of the
hospital. I carried her and ran it. They
immediately attended her when they saw
her condition and rushed her to the
emergency room. Fxck!
I watched from the glass pane as the
doctors quickly moved. She was wearing
an oxygen mask already. I pulled my hair
out of frustration and leaned on the wall. I
called her friends to let them know what
happened and I helplessly watched the
nurses and doctors remove the bullets
from her wounds.
Please hang on Reine. If there is really a
true God, please let her leave. I silently
begged. A few moments later, her friends
arrived, still in their pajamas and slippers. If
this was a normal situation, I could’ve have
laughed, but no.
“What happened to her?!” Cassie
demanded and started crying. I did not
speak. Jared hugged Cassie to comfort her.
Trey was bowing his head, silently crying.
Casssandra, she was crying uncontrollably.
“What happened to her Ace? Goddamn it!
Tell us!” she shouted and started pounding
my chest. I just ignored her.
“It-it’s my fault. She took those bullets… for
me” I slowly said. She stopped punching
my chest. I just ignored her.
“King! Where’s my sister?!” Rex shouted
and ran towards us. The four stared at him
disbelievingly as if they saw a ghost while I
nodded to the emergency room; I’m too
weak to speak. He was crying for his sister.
I walked towards him and patted his
shoulder.
“I-it was my fault, I’m supposed to be
blamed. She…. Took those bullets.. “ I said.
He looked at me. “You are not to be
blamed. Don’t take this upon yourself. She
did that because she wanted to” he said
Cassandra strode to where he was and
hugged him tight. The three joined in. “C-
can’t breathe!” Rex gasped and they all
laughed.
Moments afterward, the other seven came.
“Who are you?” the four immediately
asked.
“W-well” Grey shuttered and looked at Rex.
Cassandra glared at Rex and demanded an
explanation.
“Ok! Ok! Just keep it a secret. I’m sorry if
we never told you guys. Reine and I are the
well known Death Queen and Akuma. Yes,
we are members of the then demon and so
are they” Rex nervously said and gestured
to seven.
“And Ace here, is the king” he continued.
“What?!” they shouted in unison. “Cool”
trey exclaimed. “How’s Reine?” Grey asked.
I pointed the emergency room. The joy was
replaced by sadness.
“Ummmm.. guys?” Jared said and broke
the silence. We all looked at him. “I think
Rex needs to be in hospital room.. and
guys, you need to have a bath, you’re
starting to creep everyone out..” he stated.
We all looked around. Sure enough,
people were looking at us and others are
avoiding our gazes. Who wouldn’t be when
were covered in blood?
“No thanks” they all answered in unison.
After an hour, the door opened and a
doctor came out, we all gathered around
him. “How is she doc?” Rex asked worriedly.
The doctor looked at all of us . “Well…..”
Chapter 8
-Cassie
It’s been a month. We were all in pain but
still, we are hoping. Ace and Rex we’re the
same. They changed in some ways. Ace
wouldn’t even talk.
For a month, he didn’t say a single word to
us nor to his friends. He was always
expressionless. He never failed to visit
Reine in the hospital.
Rex speaks to us but never smiled sincerely.
It was always forced. He was always in the
hospital just the same. Cassandra visits him
always in the hospital, she told us the she
sometimes caught him crying.
“Where’s Ace?” Jared asked curiously. His
right,
Ace never fails to be here after classes. Just
then, Blake’s phone rung and he answered
it right away.
“Oh, bro. Why did you call?” he asked while
forming a fake smile. And we felt uneasy
when the smile vanished and Blake’s
expression became dead serious.
“Got it. We’ll be there in ten minutes” Blake
said and hanged up. Even Matt who was
busy easting sweets stopped in curiosity
“Matt, Daniel, and Joshua, let’s go “ he said.
“You guys, stay here and ne armed” he told
us and our eyebrows rose up. “Why?”
Cassandra asked.
“There are men who’ll try to come here and
finish Reine off. We’ll be sending
bodyguard’s here to make sure. Here take
these” he said and tossed the bag he was
carrying to Jared before they all ran out
and we don’t even know where they were
going.
We gathered around Jared to see what was
in the bag. Jared immediately unzipped it
and we weren’t surprised to see what were
in it. Gun and blades. “Nice” Trey
commented and picked up the pistol.
“We need to be ready. It’s Reine;s life, were
talking about” I seriously said. We picked
up the weapons of our own choice and hid
it in our clothes. We sat there waiting with
our senses on high alert.
We prepared ourselves. Not long after,
men in black tuxedos barged in. The one in
the front pointed a gun at me, but we were
prepared, Trey shit him straight on the
forehead causing him to fall to the ground.
We rained bullets at them until none was
left before we go out from the room and
guarded the door. We were surprised at
what we saw then, there were to groups
exchanging bullets and we hid behind the
wall to protect ourselves as the initial
reaction.
A group was wearing black tuxedos while
the others were wearing civilians like some
sort of disguise. But I caught a glimpse of
tattoos on their arms. Black roses with the
word blood under. Who the hell are these
guys?
“Drop your guns or I’ll kill you all” it was
Ace. He was holding a shot gun and a
deathly glare in his green eyes. The four
were beside him and other men. The men
in tuxedos were surrounded.
“So the prince, comes out” a man in black
tuxedo said and snickered at Ace as if
making a joke.
*bang!*bang!*bang*! Our eyes widened on
what we saw as I placed a hand over my
mouth.
Ace shot the guy continuously. When the
guy fell down on the floor, Ace still
continued to fire him until there were no
bullets left. Yet he seemed not contented
with that, he pulled out a katana from his
coat and sliced the man’s neck. The body
got separated from the man’s head.
Fxck! Ace looks scary. I never imagined he
would do something like this not thought
that he was so merciless and dangerous.
Cassandra hid her face on Rex’s face as Rex
hugged her.
“Bring them all but don’t kill them just yet”
Ace ordered to the men who were wearing
civilian as Joshua handed him a while
handkerchief which he took to wipe the
blood that was splattered on his face.
“Yes young master” they answered at the
same time, bowed at him.
Ace and the others marched over to us.
And I nearly jumped when he spoke. “Get
inside”
Having no other says, we all entered
Reine’s room as Ace went over to Reine’s
bed and sat beside her but he did not dare
to touch her because his hands was
bloodied.
“Wake up, no need to pretend” he
muttered to our shock. Sure enough, a grin
spread on Reine’s lips and she opened her
eyes.
“Since when were you awake?” Ace asker
her with a frown in his face. “Just a few
minutes ago” she beamed and hugged Ace
like he was a stuff toy, making the latter
frown more. We were all staring at them,
smiling to them. Don’t they look cute.
“Hey, hey. Let me go. I’m bloodied and
stop it! You’re choking me to death!” Ace
protested. They look so good together.
Reine released him and beamed at us. We
strode over to and gave her a hug while
Rex smacked her head.
“Ouch! What was that for?” she hissed at
his brother and crossed her arms. “For
making me worry so much” Rex simply
answered like it was the most obvious
reason. Reine just pouted like a child and
removed the tubes and the dextrose
connected to her.
“We’re going home. Beside, I’m sick of this
hospital gown. Pink? Yuck! Hey Ace, your
family owns this hospital right? Make them
change these pink gowns and turn it to red”
she demanded at Ace.
Ace just nodded and stood up while
laughed..

We planned to go to the mansion and give
a old man a visit, since there’s no classes
today because it’s Saturday. Haha -_-
I hopped in my own car and so did the
others. Cassandra and Rex were in the
same car as usual. After driving for an hour,
we reached our destination.
I saw our mansion. It was at least as big as
five malls joined together, that’s how big it
is. And near it were two other big glass
buildings.

drove inside. I got out from my car and
threw my keys to a butler. The others
joined me and we walked past rows of

sat there at the couch while Ace talked to

We weren't able to comprehend what he

just proceeded to lean against the couch
