INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE

1. Candidates belonging to Minorities, SC, ST, & Women category are only eligible to
write this Entrance Test. All others are not eligible.
2. This Admit Card is provisional. It is only after verification of eligibility that you would be
considered for admission. Appearing or qualifying the test does not entitle you for
admission.
3. Use only Ball Point Pen (black/blue) for making entries in the Question booklet and the
Answer Sheet/Booklet. Bring your own Stationery Items required to attempt the Test.
4. Handbag/ carry bag/ mobile phone/ calculator/any other electronic gadget/ eatables/
beverages (except drinking water) or any paper (other than the Admit Card) is not allowed
inside the Admission Test Hall/ Room. The University shall not be responsible for its
safekeeping.
5. You will be permitted to enter the Admission Test Hall/Room only 15 minutes before the
scheduled commencement of the test and in no case 15 minutes later than the scheduled
commencement of the test.
6. For OMR based tests, you should initially complete entries on the OMR Answer Sheet.
The Question Booklet shall be provided to you 15 minutes after the scheduled
commencement of the Test and the test duration, as specified on the Question Booklet,
shall be reckoned from the moment of its distribution.
7. Do not use whitener/correction fluid for making any corrections on the OMR Answer
Sheet/booklet.
8. You will not be permitted to leave your seat for the entire duration of the Admission
Test, except under exigencies. You should hand over the original OMR Sheet/
Booklet and Admit Card to the Invigilator before leaving the seat after the test is
over.
9. Use of unfair means or impersonation in Test will be dealt with severely as per the law.
Examination (Control of Unfair Means and Disorderly Conduct) Regulations, 2017 and
Students' Conduct & Discipline Rules, 1985 of the University are also applicable to the
candidates appearing at the Test.
10. For OMR based tests incorrect answers shall result in a negative score of 25 per cent of
the marks allotted to a question.

 Submission of application form will be no basis for claiming admission.

 Do not attach copies of mark sheets, certificates etc. with this form.

 Self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets shall be

submitted at the time of admission.

 In complete application form will not be considered.

 The form fee is Rs. 500/-

 Filled in application forms are submitted in person or sent through
Courier/Speed Post in the Office of the Residential Coaching Academy,
Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Candidates can also send Demand Draft
towards form fee in favour of "Director, Residential Coaching Academy,
AMU Aligarh" payable at Aligarh.
 Admit cards can be collected from the Office of the RCA one week before
the exam date.
