MOTION TO LIFT WARRANT OF ARREST

Accused RANEL BARBA y TEJAMO, assisted by the Public

Attorney’s Office through the undersigned Public Attorney unto this
Honorable Court, most respectfully alleges that:

1. On 17 May 2019, when the above-entitled case was called, the accused
was not present in court thus, a warrant for his arrest was issued by
the Honorable Court.

2. However, the failure of the accused to appear is due to the fact that he
belatedly received the notice sent by Court, i.e., on 15 October 2019.

3. Him not being in court on the above-mentioned hearing was not

intentional and was not intended to delay the proceedings of this court
but solely on the reason stated above.

4. The accused is going to surrender before this Honorable Court on the

scheduled date of hearing of this motion.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully prayed

that the Warrant of Arrest issued against the accused be LIFTED.
