MARTIN LUTHER

AIM: Was Martin Luther a villain or hero? Why?

Martin Luther, he is the one that people mostly known as a person who sprit the
Catholic and Protestant. He was a man of a great faith. He believes that the salvation could
be reached only by the god not by paying to the church. Therefore, he began to questions
the Catholic church about the indulgences, money that people need to pay in order to get
the forgiveness from the god, where dose the money goes? It is the motivation of him the
start writing his 95 theses or everything he think that was wrong in the Catholic. He began
to nail them on the church door in order to announce his thoughts to other people. As the
time passed by, his ideas were spread throughout Europe. His ideas became more focusing
by others. Those people who unhappy with the church might be attracted by him. Thus,
these 95 theses become the foundation of the Protestant Reformation. Also, Martin Luther,
he has translated the Bible into the vernacular, common languages, so the normal people
can read and understand the Bible by themselves.

About the aim, I think that Martin Luther is a man that start the separation between
religion, Catholic and Protestant, because he’s the one that started to question about belief
in Catholic church. He’s the one that wrote the 95 theses to attack the people believes. He’s
destroyed the holiness of the Catholic, so most people began to believe in him, Protestant.
He’s the one that ruined the Catholic by convince people by his 95 these, so most people
stopped believing in the Catholic and started believing in the Protestant.
