Outline the advantages or disadvantages of the following different methods that can

be used to source skilled labour.

a. Online recruitment (at least five advantages and one disadvantage).

Advantages:

1. It is able to reach an extremely wide audience at any time;

2. It is able to recruitment from any location in the world;

3. The best application can be selected;

4. You can follow links to detailed position descriptions and select employers

who meet the applicant’s preferences and requirements;

5. Reduce an organisation’s advertising costs

Disadvantage:

1. Too impersonal, because much of the online recruiting process way involve

emails and possibly telephone interviews, it can be viewed as somewhat impersonal.
