Interpretation: A Complete Blood Picture (CBP) is a screening test which can aid in the diagnosis of a variety of
conditions and diseases such as anemia, leukemia, bleeding disorders and infections. This test is also useful in
monitoring a person's reaction to treatment when a condition which affects blood cells has been diagnosed. All
the abnormal results are to be correlated clinically.
Note: These results are generated by a fully automated hematology analyzer and the differential count is
computed from a total of several thousands of cells. Therefore the differential count appears in decimalised
numbers and may not add upto exactly 100. It may fall between 99 and 101.

C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Serum
Investigation Observed value Biological Reference Interval
C-Reactive Protein (CRP) 23.9 <3 mg/L
Method:Nephelometry
Interpretation:
C-Reactive Protein (CRP) test is used to aid in the diagnosis of infections or diseases which cause inflammation.
CRP is a protein produced by the liver. Higher than normal concentrations of CRP are often an indicator of
infection or inflammation in the body. This test can help determine if an infection is present but not the source of
the infection. CRP concentrations increases in bacterial infections, malignancies, inflammation, and tissue
destruction. CRP is used as an index of the treatment in rheumatic fever and certain other conditions.

Dengue Antigen (Ns1) Rapid, Serum
Investigation Result
Dengue Antigen (Ns1) Rapid Negative
Method: Immunochromatography
Interpretation: Dengue NS1 antigen test is a solid phase Immunochromatographic test for the
qualitative detection of NS1antigen. It is useful for early detection -Day 0 to 4 of fever. This is only
a screening test. All positive samples should be confirmed with ELISA. Serological cross reactivity
with other Flavivirus group can happen. All result should be interpreted in conjunction with the
clinical history and serological data.
