2nd ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers is pleased to announce the 2nd Call for Papers for the
45th National Convention and Technical Conference under the Alternative Peer Review System.
This system aims to encourage Civil Engineers in Academe as well as Research and Development
Agencies to publish practice-oriented research papers in peer reviewed journals. Interested authors
should submit a manuscript of the paper thru email at picenatl.pice.org.ph on or before
September 10 based on the following format:

 between ten (10) to fifteen (15) pages in length

 A4 page size, single spacing, 12 point font
 Falling under any of the topics related to the conference theme: “COMPETENCY
ADVANCEMENT IN THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION (C.E. 4.0)”

Authors of papers selected for oral presentation will be notified on or before September 30, 2019
and will be required to give a 20-minute presentation of the paper during the 45th National
Convention and Technical Conference where panel of reviewers will evaluate the paper. Accepted
papers will be published in the Technical Journal of the Philippine Institute of Civil
Engineering.
