Senior Control Room Operator

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor degree or suitable technical qualification in mechanical or electrical,

• Minimum 6 years of experience of Coal/ CFBC/ AFBC Thermal Fired Power Plants
operations experience, of at least 3 years in equivalent position,
• Extensive knowledge of turbine, boiler and electrical equipment operating procedures,
codes and standards,
• Should be able to work in shift duties,
• Extensive knowledge of LV, HV electrical switching and safety procedures,
• Preference will be given if have Boiler Operation Certification and Electrical Operation
Certification
• Extensive overall knowledge of power plant operations,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills of English for interaction with other
departments,
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities,
• Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS products (Word and Excel).

Other Attributes

Flexible personalities comfortable with multi-tasking role and founded on honest, ambitious
and hardworking character trails are requisites. Travelling within and outside the country,
are inherent for the above positions.
