With the winding changeover specification VAC drive unit, the input/
output signals shown in Table 2-3 differ from the standard specification
VAC drive unit.

Magnet switch drive relays and winding changeover magnet switches are
turned on and off in response to the magnet switch drive signals. The
magnet switch confirmation signals are used for the confirmation of on/
off status of winding changeover magnet switches.

changeover specification are shown below. These show only different por¬
tions from the standard specification VAC motor.

Operation status of the VAC drive unit is indicated with the LED's on Che
control PCB.

, The LED's illuminating conditions can be observed chrough the hole in che
cover.

The LED's Ml, M2 and M3 indicate the operation status of the VAC drive unit -r;.

There are two different operations stacus as "normal operation" and "faulty
operation." They are indicated by the following LED illumination con-

While the VAC drive Unit is operating normally, i.e., the LED's Ml, M2 "Xj;.-
and M3 are all OFF, the other LED's indicate the input/output status
of the input/outpuc signals. These input/output signals are shown' in.,. -
Figs. 3-2 (for standard specification) and 3-3 (for winding changeover
specification), and Appendix 1 explains them briefly.

(2) Faulty Operation Status Indication

A faulty operation status is indicated by the LED's Ml and M2 in the


following conditions.
a) Ml and M2 flicker simultaneously.
b) Ml lights up.
c) M2 lights up.

LED's other than Ml and M2 light up corresponding to the failure


conditions occurred to indicate them.

In any case, operations of the VAC drive unit become impossible.


Indication method of the failure contents differs depending on the
ROM version. For ROM version, refer to Appendix 2.
