Dynamical models’ parameters

The development of simplified dynamical models to validate the infrastructure and vehicle design choices
needs to ground on basic design specifications, which are reported here based on the available literature
on similar systems (e.g. high-speed trains) and/or experience gained through the Low Speed Test Facility
development.

Thses “vehicle fixed parameters” will be used to define the dynamical models. The complexity of each
dynamical model will be as much as needed to represent and validate the effects of a specific
“infrastructure design choice”. These lasts are the parameters which effect needs to be understood
through the dynamical models.
