YOU GROW UP

Well, today I am going to talk about Son, who is not only one of my close friends but also a
really creative person.
Speaking of how I know him. We’ve been roommates since high school until the end of my
university life. He/she is like my partner in crime who has been through many ups and downs
in my life, the one I come to share both joy and sorrow
Regarding what he does, now he has graduated and is currently working as a developer intern. I
always know he is a smart guy so seeing him getting accepted at a famous company doesn’t
surprise me at all.
----When it comes to why he is creative, I must say Son is really talented in music. Although
claiming to be only an amateur songwriter, he composed plenty of pop/ballad songs that
immediately became hits and nobody in my college didn’t’t know about them. This is because
his melodies and lyrics were always catchy and upbeat so everybody could sing and dance along.
(Besides, he has a unique fashion style. He is able to mix
and match different kinds of clothes with all the different colors and styles into really trendy
outfits. Only a creative mind is capable of doing so, don’t’ you think?). I really enjoy Son’s
company
That’s it. Thank you for listening
So today I am gonna tell you about a skill taking a long time to learn which is speaking English,
especially
in IELTS exam
So first of all I have a friend named tai who I am very close to since high school. He like my partner in
crime who has through ups and downs in my life, the one I come to share both joy and sorrow. We also
have a dream which is to study abroad in Aus and you know if we wanna do it, the first thing we have to
do is learning ielts, so we made up our mind to find a place to study and finally we chose Zim academic
which is one of the most well-know english centers in hanoi and we go to zim everyday to study ever
since. And Zim is where I met Jimmy my teacher who teach me speaking english
When it comes to why speaking English take a great deal of time to master. First, I am a non-native

speaker and second there are many aspects in speaking including intonation, ending sounds, especially

pronunciation, it is a very challenging skill you know when the first day I study in zim, I did not know the

first thing about pronunciation and find it diffcult to pronounce english word correctly and my teacher

has taught me how to say the word “english” instead of “ing lịch” which is what/how I always

mispronounced before so after that I still practice over and over by now, I always believe that practice

make perfect and even though I can succeed one day, this is just a first step in my journey to speak
fluently.

Last year was a nail-biting time for me as I had some important tests. After passing my final
exams/ passing the university entrance exam/ wining a scholarship/ wining a sport competition, I
decided to destress and reward myself by Taking a trip to My Khe beach with some of my
friends and family members. It was one of a kind, you know. We had a chance to swim in the
crystal clear water, play some beach volleyball and eat delicious seafood. After some quality
bonding-time with my loved ones,
