Vector Group

Definition
•The vector group denotes the way in which the windings are
connected and the phase position of their respective voltage
vectors

•The vector group describes the instantaneous phase angle

relationship between corresponding primary and secondary
quantities.

•The Vector Group relate to the phase displacement between the

HV and LV windings using a clock face notation
