Create Your Own Infographic

Directions: In this assignment, you will be using the information and knowledge you have
gathered while reading the book and create an infographic to explain a topic you have
learned. Your topic can be about:

 A main Character
 Symbols
 Themes
 Main Events
 Setting

Your infographic can be created using the website Venngage. On the site you can use one
of the provided templates or create your own. You can get as creative as you want so long
as you complete the following:

 Include a title about your topic, and make sure you name the title of the book and
reference the author.

 At least five informational blurbs about your topic. This can be details about your
topic, or different aspects related to your topic. These blurbs of information must be
your own insights and interpretations about the topic

 At least four relevant quotes to your topic.

 At least five relevant images, either uploaded from online or some that are provided
on the site.
 For full credit, you must use full sentences, and must be free of major spelling and
grammar mistakes.

Remember to use different colors throughout your infographic, and make sure that the
words are easy to read and that the information you think is most important to your topic
stands out. Make sure you section out your blurbs so that they are easy to read and
differentiate. We will be sharing these with the class in a gallery walk, where you will teach
your classmates about what you have learned from the novel.
