RICE BURGER
Ingredients
1 cup medium grain rice Fried tempe/tahu; sliced thin
2 cups water Fried egg, sunny side up
1 cup olive oil / margarine Tomato ketchup, chilli sauce,
mayyonaise tomato and cucumber, sliced thin
¼ cup sesame seeds, toasted
Method:
1. Cook the rice as it should in a rice cooker
2. When it’s done, take about a palmfull of cooked rice and shape it like a burger bun. Make two
buns. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, gently place rested rice buns in the pan and cook it
until crispy and golden. Transfer to a plate with sesame seeds.
4. Put fried tempe/tahu and fried egg along with tomato and cucumber slices between the buns;
don’t forget to smear enough sauces. Serve immediately.
