 ABSTRACT

 It is a great pleasure for me to present the following report on my industrial training

otherwise one seldom gets the chance to go for the software training. It outlines the
course of my job details during my training period of 6 Week at INFOWIZ.

 The training report consists of the various instructions used in the AutoCAD
designing, various examples of designs. My project details on Civil Design using
AutoCAD

 Adequate layouts & diagrams have been provided for more descriptive
outlook & better clarity of understanding. All in I have tried to provide the
best from me in presenting this volume on my training at INFOWIZ in a very
precise manner.

 However any suggestions & comments on this volume will be gratefully

 INTRODUCTION

AutoCAD is a commercialsoftware application for 2D and

3Dcomputer-aided design (CAD) and drafting — available since
1982 as a desktop application and since 2010 as a mobile web-
and cloud-based app marketed as AutoCAD 360. Developed and
marketed by Autodesk, Inc.,[1] AutoCAD was first released in
December 1982, running on microcomputers with internal
graphics controllers.[2] Prior to the introduction of AutoCAD, most
commercial CAD programs ran on mainframe computers or
minicomputers, with each CAD operator (user) working at a
separate graphics terminal. AutoCAD is used across a wide range
of industries, by architects, project managers, engineers,
designers, and other professionals. It is supported by 750 training
centers worldwide as of 1994.

As Autodesk's flagship product, by March 1986 AutoCAD

had become the most ubiquitous CAD program worldwide. As of
2014, AutoCAD is in its twenty-ninth generation, and collectively
with all its variants, continues to be the most widely used CAD
program throughout most of the world.

C. 3D (3Dimension)

3D means three dimensional, i.e. something that has width, height and
depth. Our physical environment is three dimensional and we move
around in 3D every day
