.I'm going to talk about my best friend, An, who is one of my closest friends ever.

We've
friend for 8 years. We met in 2011 on our first day of secondary school. when I was
frantically looking for my class An is the person who helped me. Coincidently, we were in the
same class and were arranged by the teacher to become desk-mates. Now, we live in the same
flat. I wanna talk about An for many reasons. She is cute and has a sense of humor, always
telling jokes and making me happy. We really hit it off right from the start. We can share
everything from schoolwork to our love lives. An is willing to give others a hand. Whenever I
need she is always beside me, giving me good advices and cheering me up when I feel down.
There is a study said that if a friendship lasts longer 7 years it will last a lifetime and I am
proud to say that I have such a loyal and helpful friend – she's really one in a million.

1/ What do you expect from a good friend?

I would expect a good friend to be reliable and honest. If you cannot trust someone, he cannot
be your true friend. A good friend is someone who really cares about you and is will to be
there for you as much as you have been there for her. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

2/ Are friends as important to you as family?

No, I wouldn't say so., I think family is more important because friends can come and go, but
our family is always there when no one else supports your, they love you unconditionally.
they give advice and knowledge from their lives to help you with yours, they worry about
your future. How could friends be more important than everything good in your life? That's
family.

3/ Do you think friendships change as we get older?

I think friendships can change when two people grow apart from each other. Because we
change. Everyone changes. I'm not the same person I was when I was 6 16 years old. As you
get older you change tastes, occupations, hobbies, maybe even politics and religions.

I would like to talk about one of the most impressive football matches that I’ve watched
recently, on January 23. On that day, after finishing a class, my friends and I decided to watch
the football match in our high school's hall. it was such an exciting game with a ton of
surprises. There was a TV with a big screen and the sound effects were also amazing, which
really made the game more and more thrilling. The game ended up with a tie of 2 – 2, and the
final result was determined by a penalty shootout. Thanks to the skillful goalkeeper and
midfielder, Vietnam amazingly won the game with score 4-3 in the penalty. At that moment,
everyone quickly poured into the city center to celebrate. This match marked an important
milestone in the football history of Vietnam.

1/ What are the best way to keep fit?

To me, I think the best way to keep fit is doing exercises Find an activity that you think it is
fun. A good mental attitude is important. Do the activity as often as possible, but don't
exercise to the point of pain.

2/ Do you think most people consider exercise a chore or do they find it fun ?

Probably a chore, but they do it because they know it’s good for them, they have a goal, they
like how they feel afterwards, they like to challenge themselves, whatever the reasons…each
person will have their own reason for doing it and preferences for the kind of exercise.

3/ What is the most popular form of exercise in your country?

I definitely find that the most popular form of exersise is going to the gym. I have 2 different
opinions about gym. On the one hand, it is convinient. But on the other hand, it may be too
expensive for some people. So, some of them choose another form, that is work-out.

My major is English pedagogy. Being an English teacher is a dream for me since childhood.
I'm trying to improve myself everyday. Being a teacher fairly requires many qualifications
and abilities. I have the passion to be a teacher. I think this is a very important thing. On the
other hand, I have many weaknesses in English. I must improve my English to teach students.
I will spend a lot of time practicing my skills. Actually, to me the most difficult thing about
the job is that the teachers should have some psychological knowledge that I have never
touched before. Capturing student psychology is really essential to helping students grasp the
best. There are many reasons to explain why it is my dream job. But the main reason is that
my mother is a teacher so I wanna be a good teacher like her. I hope my dream will come
true. I trust that my passion and attempt will help me do my dream.

1/ Do you think science subjects are more useful than arts subjects?

I think it is more useful because they are primarily concerned with practical matters. Science
is nature’s language and we are a part of nature. Stop writing Literature/History books for a
century. The world will survive. But if Universe stopped following Scientific laws and
principles everything will be havoc.

2/ Are student mature enough to choose what to study themselves or should their
parents decide for them?

I think success in studying comes from being highly motivated to study. So, the students
should choose the subject that they’re interested in. To be more specific, I am a typical
example. My parents used to impose me to study hard at science subjects but I don't really
like them so my result wasn’t good. But I decided to choose English for my career, and I think
that I'm doing well

3/ Are people more motivated if there job involves helping others?

If they are loving and giving, they will be extremely motivated by helping others, but if they
are selfish and obsessed with getting ahead, helping others will be a burden to them and
something they will want to stay very far away from.

A languge that I would like to learn other than English is Korean. To me, it is an interesting
language with a lot of culture behind it. I’d hazard a guess that it will be really challenging for
me because Korean uses its own characters in its writing. So I would have to get familiar
with its own alphabetical system. I will also get a good textbook that summarizes
all essential vocabulary and grammar. I think Korean vocabulary would be much easier for
me to acquire than their grammar because I have heard that learning grammar is extremely
frustrating. I really want to be fluent in Korean is because I am so in love with its adorable
sounds. Actually I can pick up some common phrases through a lot of Korean dramas and K-
pop songs. Admitedly, being multilingual expands your knowledge across country’s
border. You know, knowing Korean in combination with my English skills undoubtedly give
me a chance to be well paid. From on now, I’m trying my best in order to meet my goal.

1/ Is it considerd important in your country to learn a foreign language?

That not only is it important, but it may also very well be necessary. In this day and age, there
are more and more people learn and speak a foreign language, especially English. They learn
for school and their work. The more fluent you speak a foreign language, the better the job
opportunities you have.

2/ What, in your opinion, is the best way to learn a language?

Ideally, the best way is that you have to immerse yourself in the language and the culture. In
my opinion, there is nothing better than conversation to help you improve. Or you can find an
radio station to listen to, watch an foreign language-speaking movie or TV show.

3/ Why are some people seemmingly better at learning languages than others?
It’s true that some people seem to pick up language easier than others. To me the more
genuinely you like languages, the more easily you will pick it up. For most people, they just
feel stupid because they are not good at it initially, so they quickly give up. There is still one
more significant factor: Effort. Even if you have a good strategy, even if you have a great
attitude, you will still have to work at learning a language.

I consider myself a technophile, so it’s har/d for me to live a day without using technological
devices, especially my iPhone. It was a present from my parents to congratulate me on my
birthday just 3 months ago. It's a smartphone with lots of cool apps and functions. , I think
that my mobile phone really helps me in different ways from my study to my work or
communication. I no longer need dictionaries, notebooks, a camera, a music player or a TV
because now I can look up new words, take notes, capture photos, listen to music and watch
films on the screen of my phone. In replacement of a heavy bulky laptop, my smartphone also
allows me to create and edit documents on the move. Especially, I guess that with only a
smartphone and the Internet, these days it's so easy way to access information. In conclusion,
I actually believe that it’s pretty hard for people today living without the modern equipment
and technology devices.
1/ What have been the most significant technological developments of recent years?

Undoubtedly, a smartphone connected with the internet. They bring people closer together.
You can travel the globe and still connect with your family using smartphones. Gone are the
days when we needed a computer to do many things, now smartphone makes things a lot
easier even if you’re in the move

2/ In what ways have these developments changed society for the better and for the
worse?

Everything has 2 sides. Although the internet brings people closer together, there are
disadvantages. First of all many people spend almost their time on a smartphone instead of
going out and socializing. Some people wake up in the morning and check their phones first.
Last but not least, cell phones can cause health issues by virtue of its radiofrequency energy

3/ Are people in your country nostalgic about life before technology?

I'd definitely say yes and not just the elderly generation. Younger people, too, are beginning
to nostalgic about life before technology. Technology not only makes us forward in many
ways but also lets us relive moments of personal and public history. For an instant, before the
appearance of Internet children used to have many things to play together instead of
Facebook, Zalo, online game and so on. It means their childhood seems to be happier.

………………………………………..

One of my hobbies is listening to music. I've always loved it. I was approached with music
when I was a child, my father lulled me to sleep. And I think it's the major reason why I like
listening to music. For me, music roles a significant play in my life. I listen to it every single
day whenever I'm free. I often listen to my favorite songs from my phone. Listening to
English songs can help me to expand my vocabualary. When you hear something that looks
like you, that you understand it easily, you start to love it. There are a lot of different styles of
music for you to choose and enjoy. Music can speak, through music, people can express
feelings and emotions. I can say that music is my best buddy. It always keeps me happy and
relaxed. I can't imagine what the world would be like if music didn't exist. Really boring.

1/ Do you think men and women tend to have different types of hobbies?
Well obviously there are a number of clear differences. However, I guess that the most
significant would be that men tend to prefer sporting activities such as football or basketball.
Whereas in contrast women prefer things like shopping for clothes. In addition to this, another
possible distinction might be that men usually like watching films: while on the other hand,
women are more likely to prefer watching soap operas on TV.

2/ Why do some people get obsessed with their body?

I think everybody finds at least one thing absolutely fascinating. It can be anything, subjects
like history of art, or sport like football. Everyone is different and one person’s interest can
appear strange to other people. However, not everyone has enough time to indulge themselves
with their hobby. Mothers of young children, for example, get little free time so they appear
less ‘obsessed’ than a single man who spends every weekend playing video games.

3/ Do you think hobbies that keep you fit are better than hobbies that you can do sitting
down?
Ok. I’ll start with some in4mations about Safety of Organic food. As you all know that
Organic food keeps us out of harmful chemicals. Pesticides and herbicides are poisonous —
by nature, they're designed to kill and linked to cancer, birth defects, obesity, diabetes and
other health problems. Pesticides and chemicals have also been linked to infertility problems
in males and females. When parents-to-be choose organic food, their baby-to-be is exposed to
fewer health risks. Basic logic would tell you not to eat poison, so why not go organic and
avoid pesticides?

Organic food isn’t sprayed with extremely toxic chemicals that kill the living organisms that a
plant needs to grow and make the soil nutrient rich. Once those organisms are killed off, they
are replaced with synthetic fertilizers made up from… you guessed it, more toxic chemicals.
And, everything ends up in the ocean. Surface water runoff from non-organic farms and other
non-organic food operations can deposit pesticides into lakes, rivers, and seas. Many
pesticides don't break down in water and may remain in the water system for years. Organic
food farming methods help to keep water clean plus use less water, thus preserving the earth's
water supplies. Wild animals, fish, and birds depend upon healthy plants, streams, rivers, and
lakes in their habitat. When pesticides infiltrate animal habitats many creatures suffer.
Now, let’s talk about the safety of organic food. Organic is safe because of its farming
methods. In Vietnam, a farmer – Nguyen Quoc Thang has chosen to engage in organic
farming, eschewing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Most of vegetables grown in
air box to shield them from harmful pesticides and chemical sprayed from the neighbourhood.
The works on farm is done mannualy. For instance, weeding is done by hand, no chemical
herbicide is used

Genuine organic food must be certificated by one of the major international organic
certificater. Three popular organic certification standards in the world and widely known in
Vietnam are USDA, EU Organic Farmingand JAS. In general, organic food must demonstrate
that they are protecting natural resources and using only approved substances. So, we can set
our mind at rest that organic is safe for both us and our planet.
