PART 1

Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my views about the excellent quality of the adventure
holiday, as well as the one of the English course. I recently took part in these and,
to my mind, they were very interesting and informative.
To start with, I would want to highlight the accommodation process. The room I
stayed in with my colleague for one week was clean and spacious enough for a
cabin. A plus for me was that we had separate bathrooms, so we did not have to
wait a long time at the door to get in. The price was not a problem at all, I think it
was suited for the conditions we got.
Talking about food, it is true that we did not have any canteen available near the
cabin, but the best part was that we could go to different restaurants. It was an
occasion for us to meet new people and talk to them in English, which, in the end,
it was the point of this trip. I got a chance to practice my English skills, and the
way that I communicate with people in another language, just passing this barrier
between us.
I would like to offer some more points for the English course. It was absolutely
fantastic, the teachers were so relaxed which made it really easy for us to learn
new things that we will never forget. It was a good atmosphere, everybody was
laughing and just having some good time.
Above that, the activities were also wisely chosen. We had a great range of indoor
and outdoor activities like rock climbing, trekking and team games and it was
good to get away from the monotony at home.
Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would repeat all over again if I had
the chance. Maybe I will come back next summer to meet with the friends I made
here and to see again those beautiful places.

The aim of this proposal is to present some of my suggestions about the events
and the facilities that should be included in the next year’s international festival
planned by our town.
To begin with, the accomodation should be very well-organized. When they enter
a town, the first thing everybody sees is how clean and crowded it is. The tourists
should make a good impression of our town and its surroundings, so it is
necessary to make sure that it will look nice and fresh. All residents need to take
part in this and to get their houses looking their best.
Therefore, the transport is also very important. The town council should provide
free transportation methods like the bus or the train, along the town. Many main
streets should also be closed for the cars to avoid the traffic getting over-
crowded.
Last but not least, the events should be very diverse, interesting and entertaining.
I think that a carnival with traditional costumes specific for countries from all over
the world would attract a lot of tourists. Also, some stands with traditional food
and drinks would be a large point of interest. We need to make sure that every
country will be involved at least in one activity. Furthermore, I think that some
film projections at night in the central park are very attracting for everybody.
Apart from this, the town council should make available some tourism guides that
will show the people the most beautiful places in our city and explain to them
how much impact the history had on it.
Above all , I think that the council should invest time, money and resources to
make this festival as best as they can, to show the tourists some incredible things
that they will never forget.
