Recipes to Cure Lifestyle Diseases

Fig Burfi (This can be eaten by Diabetic People)
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup dry Figs
• 1 cup Dates (pitted and without sugar coating)
• 1/2 cup roasted Almonds (slivered)
• 1/4 cup roasted Cashews (slivered)
• Green Cardamom powder to taste
• 1 tbsp. honey (for shiny texture)
• 5 to 6 pistachio (for garnishing)
Serves-4
Time-20 minutes
Method:
• Take figs and dates and chop them finely. Knead them for 5 to 10 minutes, until you get a smooth dough.
• Now add roasted almonds, cashews, green cardamom powder and honey.
• Mix them all well and then make a rectangular sheet of dough by pressing.
• Now cut them into square shape and garnish with finely chopped pistachio on the top and serve.
