Human duty in the world

Allah create human not only to live but they also have task in this world. For the
prosperity of the human, Allah give the human tasks such as:

1. Become khalifah (leader)

According to Al-Qur’an the word “leader” often interpreted with the word
“khalifah, imam, and ulil amri” which means someone who can lead, rule ,and guide
what he lead.

 Al-Baqarah:30.

‫ض َخ ِليفَةً قَالُوا أَتَ ْج َع ُل ِفي َها َم ْن‬ ْ ‫َو ِإ ْذ قَا َل َرب َُّك ِل ْل َمالئِ َك ِة ِإ ِنِّي َجا ِع ٌل ِفي‬
ِ ‫األر‬
‫ِّس لَ َك قَا َل ِإنِِّي أ َ ْعلَ ُم‬
ُ ‫ِك َونُقَ ِد‬ َ ُ‫يُ ْف ِس ُد فِي َها َويَ ْس ِفكُ ال ِ ِّد َما َء َون َْح ُن ن‬
َ ‫س ِبِّ ُح بِ َح ْمد‬
َ‫َما ال تَ ْعلَ ُمون‬

“Behold,when your lord said to the angels “indeed, I will make upon the earth a
successive authority, “they said, will you place upon it one who causes corruption therein
and sheds blood, while we declare your praise and sanctify you?” Allah said. ”indeed, I
know that which you do not know”.

 The contents of surah Al-Baqarah:30

1. Become leader for himself and the others in order to seek Allah’s ridha
2. Become ruler on earth for the safety of human life
3. Manage, treat, conserve, exploit ,and arrange the nature that is the source of
life
4. Spread the Al-Qur’an by wisdom and graceful
  Adz-Dzariyat:56

ِ ‫س ِإ ََّّل ِليَ ْعبُد‬

‫ُون‬ ِ ْ ‫َو َما َخلَ ْقتُ ْال ِج َّن َو‬
َ ‫اْل ْن‬

“And I not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship me “

According to Al-Qur’an, human was created in this world to worship and to serve Allah SWT.
The point of worshipping Allah are having relation with Allah, praise the magnificence of Allah,
and pray to Allah in order to get close with Him. The main effort to get close with Him is
through commitment to do pillar of islam maching with the guidance of islam.

 The contents of surah Adz-dzariyat ayat:56

1. The purpose of Allah creating jinn and human is to worship and serve
to Allah
2. The point of worshipping Allah are dzikir to Allah, communicate with
Allah
3. Seeking for Allah’s Ridha, everything we do, dedication, worship,
must begin with reciting basmallah.
4. Try to get close with Allah
5. Obeying Allah command and avoid the forbidden things
