Module Reflection Questions:

1. Implementation of feedback:

Based on the feedback I received, I would make sure to fix all the elements that were not

working properly. I would also make sure to change the format into Kiosk mode on PowerPoint

before sending it to others for feedback. These were the two most valuable comments that I

received regarding my application. My partner and I were not aware that those elements were not

working when others tried playing our application in the form of PowerPoint Show versus when

we were editing it in the regular form of PowerPoint. We had also not realized that we had to

change a setting to our PowerPoint to Kiosk mode in order for our application to run like an app

rather than a presentation. These changes would improve our application.

2. Learning Reflection:

After referring to my project and the feedback that I had received, I have found that I

have learned some insights on the process of revision and iteration. Revision takes time and

fixing some issues may be harder than you had originally thought. For my partner and I, it took

us awhile to figure out how to make everything link together to run smoothly. Based on my

experiences, I would try a different idea or alter our idea next time. One project that I had viewed

was a murder mystery. The concept was intriguing, and the application was fun to play. It

seemed to provide the perfect length of time required to finish the app. Our application seemed

to lack length due to how we had structured it. We had many different destinations that the
audience could reach, but not very many options for them to choose from in order to reach those

destinations. Allowing the audience to have more choices to determine their location would be

ideal for if I were to do this project again.

3. Alternative Use / Future Directions:

The technology I used for this project could be used in other ways besides creating a

standard presentation. I did not realize that PowerPoint could be used to create an anything more

than a presentation, like an application. I could see PowerPoint being used for other purposes

other than education or business such as for entertainment. Games could be created using

PowerPoint in the way that we utilized it for this project. I could see myself one day using this

technology as a teacher to provide a more unique way to teach the curriculum to my English

classes.
