Welcome Speech

“Today is the day we begin to learn to look through the eyes of others; it is a day to offer everyone a
warm welcome with an outstretched hand”.

A very warm welcome to everyone. It is a matter of great pride for me to witness such a huge audience
on the 15th Annual Day of our school. On behalf of the whole team of Crescent Public School, I, Bhavna
Kaushal, Principal of the school have great pleasure in this wonderful afternoon in welcoming our revered
Chief Guest _________________________ and other cherished/distinguished guests, parents who also
consented amidst their tight schedule to share every moments of this wonderful function with us & I also
welcome our teaching and non-teaching staff.

In today’s celebration our main heroes are our students. The journey with the students so far has been
very exciting and our staff puts its best efforts to find out the hidden qualities of each and every student
and sow them the path of wisdom, courage and confidence.

Ladies and gentlemen the journey of Crescent Public School started 15 years back and with sheer
dedication, hard work and sincerity of the students, staff members and cooperation of the parents we have
reached a stage where we proudly stand with our heads held high.

The lifeline of every school are their students. To make this lifeline healthy we need opportunities like
today which boost up their confidence and eradicate the feeling of fear and shyness on stage.

In this extremely competitive world with fast changing value systems and attraction towards materialistic
life, it has become extremely difficult for living beings to maintain the prime value of love, wisdom and
ethics. We imbibe in our children the feelings of respect, ethics for all and optimism in life.

Once again we are favored to welcome some of the brightest stars the world has seen to our 15 th Annual
Function of our school.
