MULTIMEDIA EVALUATION REPORT
I wish there was a way for me to skip through the videos or monitor how far along in the I was.
So, for instance if I leave the video page and return I am not able to continue where I left off. I
have to sit through the entire video not knowing when it will end.
There could be a way for the user to control the audio volume or turn it off it needs be.
There was no real way to measure if the users learned anything from the lesson because they
Observations
The comments left by my peers gave both positive and negative feedback as the project was
not perfect. Both reviewers thought that the overall project was commendable, well designed and
contained sound content. They also thought that the graphics and design elements were creative
and engaging. They comments reflected on the ease of use of the program, the consistency in
navigational icons, and theme. The overall craftsmanship and credibility of the program was also
noted. On the other hand, there were some area that were flawed in the feedback data. These

The feedback given on my Multimedia project was insightful and helpful. It will be used
in the enhancement of the program developed and future programs like these. In response to the
feedback, I would like to say firstly that each point was valid and considerate. The content used
in the course (exempt from the videos and audio) were developed by the user. We saw no need to
recreate resources that were currently readily available for our use, while also expediting our
development process. Due credibility was given to the creators, however in-text citations would
have better linked resources to sources. The ability of the program to run efficiently is dependent
on several factors such as consistent internet service, device capabilities and software
programming. I am happy that the program ran successfully on all platforms, although one took
longer than the other. The side menu should have been considered in the development of the
program, however we had tried many authoring tool options which did not display the side menu
in that way, but also did not produce the desired quality of product. This was an oversite on our
part. Along with some other formatting issues encountered, the original design text selected was
not compatible with the authoring tool we imported the content into. Thus, the text format was
changed after our design phase. The embedding of the video also removed some capabilities,
such as video control. I am sure we could have further developed the program to include these,
but we did not know how at the time. Finally, while assessing the learners is an integral part of
any learning event, specific instructions indicated that a proper assessment tool was not required.

Revisions
The following revisions can be made to enhance the program based on the feedback provided by
1. Include in-text citations with every outsourced piece of media to link it to its creator in
the reference list and add copy-right statement on the page containing outsourced items.
2. Include more original content such as demonstration videos or screencasts recording the
3. Name the side menu tabs appropriately to enhance user interface, through easier
navigation.
4. Revise text selection to something more theme appropriate, and attention grabbing,
5. Add video controls that allow the user to pause, play, rewind, forward, point and click
video progression, and increase or decrease background music and video audio
(separately).
6. Decrease the size of the media through editing and compressing of program graphics,
video and audio files, so that the program load time would be decreased as much as
possible.
