ISL AUCTION RULES

Following are rule of ISL Auction:

 Auction Date: 23rd -24th November 2019

 There would be 8 Teams in total.

 Auction roster will include all the players (i.e. male and female sportspersons) who have
nominated for ISL.

 Every team must buy a minimum of ___ and a maximum of ____ players (excluding the
manager and the captain).

 Every team must buy a minimum of ___ and a maximum of ____ woman players
(excluding the manager and the captain).

 It is the duty of the Manager and Captain to manage and maintain the database of their
and other teams. Team ISL will not be responsible in case a team fails to do so from
their end.

 Team ISL will maintain a centralized database for internal purposes. In case of a conflict,
Team ISL Database will be considered accurate and final.

 Once a bid has been raised, it will be counted final and cannot be called by the team.

 Each team will have a budget of _________ million which they can spend to buy their
quota of players.

 Each player will have a base price of 15 million and will follow the following incremental
pattern while bidding unfolds :
o From 15 m - 20 m, the bids will increment by 1 million.
o From 20 m - 30 m, the bids will increment by 2 million.
o From 30 m – 50 m, the bids will increment by 4 million.
o Above 50 million, the bids will increment by 5 million.

 In case of any conflict, the auctioneer’s call shall be considered as final.

 The auction will go on until every player who has nominated has been sold.

 Team ISL reserves the rights to modify/add/delete the rules if the situation demands so.

Conditional Clause (If the no. of players are not in the multiple of 8)

 The first ________ teams to buy ________ players will complete their quota (maximum
quota is _________ players). Team ISL will restrict any team from further bidding once
the maximum quota of players for the team is reached.

PENALTY CLAUSE:

 Every team must complete its minimum number of players within the allocated budget
(_________ million).

 In the following cases :

o In case a team exceeds its available budget while bidding.
o In case a team fails to complete its minimum quota of _______ players.
o In case a team fails to complete its minimum quota of _______ woman players.

--a Penalty Clause will be implemented on the violating team.

The clause is as follows:

The highest priced player of that team until that point will be removed and would be
available for resale and the 70% budget spent on that player (30% is the penalty on
Transaction Value of the Player) will be allocated back to the same team. However, the
defaulting team cannot bid for that player in the subsequent resale auction.

Point to be noted:
1. Highest priced man player will be removed if the penalty clause is triggered
during the auction of a man player.

2. Highest priced woman player will be removed if the penalty clause is triggered
during the auction of a woman player.
