Event: Bid to Win Your Football Dream

ROUND 1: General Quiz on football and a tinge of
economics too.
ROUND 2: 8 teams get incorporated into the second
round, bidding for Gks.
ROUND 3: Bidding for mid-fielders starts
ROUND 4: Final round, bidding for attacking players.
How the bidding works
Squad size has to be of 7 players. Minimum: 1 GK 2
Defs 2 Mid-fielders and 1 Forward. The players will
be from PL, LaLiga and Bundesliga.
Each team will have a purse of 100 million $. For 8
teams to make a squad of 7 players, the numbers
of players available for bidding per position will be

GK 10 players
Defenders 30 players
Mid-fielders 40 players
Forwards 30 players
Round 2 will be GKs. On the basis of news flashes
and player form provided, a list of 10 GKs will be
presented. Bidding will start and the team with the
highest bid gets the player. Base price and form of
the player will be given by us. A 10 minute round.

Round 3 will be Defenders. Some more news


regarding Defenders and their form will be
provided and out of a maximum 30 defenders
available the 8 teams have to bid for minimum 2
players. A 20 minute round.
Round 4 will be mids. Same as the 2 previous
rounds teams bid for Mid-fielders and this too will
be a 20 minute round.
The final round will be Forwards, Same as the
previous rounds. This will also be a 20 minute
round.
*You cannot purchase more than 3 players from the
same league.
**In each position players will be divided into 3
categories, 90+ rated 80-90 rated and sub 80 rated,
*** Points for each player and their base price will be
presented to the teams before each round. The
attributes to be considered for calculation of a players
points (out of 100) will be as follows

After the 3 rounds of bidding, the team will the best


rating (average) will win and in case of a tie the more
efficient team (money left in purse) shall be the
winners.
