INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION FOR

SCHOLARS

All India Advocates Cricket Association today on November 20th, 2010 publishes its

inaugural 2000-word International Essay Writing Competition 2010(in English). The

competition will award Best Entry prizes of ₹ 10000 and Best Research Entry ₹ 5000.

All entries shall be awarded by participation certification.

Objective: To foster and encourage ‘sports and the Law’ scholarship in the region,
and to reward upcoming scholars in the field. All Selected best essay will be published
in Souvenir published by Chhattisgarh Advocates Cricket Association.

 Submission Guidelines:

 All interested students or professional MUST email to

submissioncaca@gmail.com by December 10th , 2010. Please place "Article title
and Author Name" in the email subject line.
 Each submission must contain a cover page containing the Article Title, Author Name,
Qualification, Your School/College/Department/University name. DO NOT place
your name or school anywhere on the submission.(article)
 Entries must be submitted strictly by December 10th, 2010.

Every Entry Is Required That All Submitted Entries Should Conform To The
Following Guidelines:
1) Any students or professionals are eligible;

2) Entries which have been submitted for a class are acceptable; however, any such entry must
not have been edited by a professor or other teaching assistant;

3) Co-authorship is not acceptable;

4) All entries must strictly adhere to 2000 words in length (including citations), double
spaced, and must be the original, unpublished academic work of the person submitting the
entry;

5) All entries must be in 12 point, Times New Roman font, and must have default one-inch
margins all around;

6) Pages must be numbered; Citations must be in footnote format and be in accordance with
the rules of The Bluebook, A Uniform System of Citation, Nineteenth Edition;

7) The editorial board reserves the right to decline to publish any submitted entry, and also
reserves the right to publish more than one submitted entry;

8) The entries will not consider entries postmarked/submitted after December 10th, 2010.

9) Best five entries will be published in the Souvenir of XXIInd ALL INDIA ADVOCATES
CRICKET ASSOCIATION
  the authors shall grant a license to the Editorial Board/ Committee to edit and publish
the manuscript as part of the Souvenir /Journal. Authors shall retain copyright over
their submissions.

10) Every entry shall be double blind reviewed by highly eminent panel reviewers and
external reviewers will act as a Judge.

Every entry will be evaluated based -Thematic focus / Skill in argumentation / Clarity of
ideas/ Originality / Precision and style in writing / Grace of expression/ Average Score will
make out of 10.

11) Decision made by the board will be final & no enquires will be entertained over the decision
of board on its announcements. In case of any dispute decision of President and editorial
board will be final.

12) No entry will be accepted after DECEMBER 10th. 2010.
