Lord satisfy the desire of all living entities through the veda's.

Depending of desire ===> See the vedas ====> Philosphy derives ====> Fulfilment of
desire.

Only philosphy that are coming from anandmaya platform is the real philosphy.

Who is the source of milk? bottle ===> Fridge ===> milkman ===> Milk-Van ====> Cow

Completeness includes all incompleteness. Suppose you have 100 rupees. if someone
ask have you 10rs answer is yes.

Three Goal of the course:

Svamat Sthaphana

Difference between Nyaya and Nyaya-system of philosphy??

When the confusion is raised and person accept that he is confused then answer is
just removal of confusion.

Nyaya system of philosphy which accepts logic as the process of self realization is
atheistic.

Every movement in the veda is connected by the logic as current.

analyzing the meaning of words(padartha) is not the process of self realization <==

Nyaya System of philosphy ===> Gautama (Bihar==>Darbhanga)

Original sheet of nyaya is mithila then it is shifted to mayapur in age of kali.
In age of kali vanaras become sheet of vyakaran mithila become the sheet of vedanta
kanchi become the sheet of chanda.

Gautama's name is akshapada(one who looks his own feet) dirghatapas(austerity for
long time)

Book name is nyaya sutra.

other names:
nyaya vidya (Science of Logic and reasoning)
Tark Sastra (Science of reasoning)

before Gautama there is two division of nyaya:

Anvesiki (Science of critical study) ==> to explore
Darsana.
Akshapada system

Summary of Nyaya:
1.) Attain knowledge by discrminating valid (Prama) and invalid knowledge(Aprama)
throgh Logic.

There is two type of knowledge according to Gautama:

Valid Knowledge(Prama)
Invalid Knowledge(Aprama)

The process of identifying valid knowledge and invalid knowledge is known as

Logic.

2) Apply the valid knowledge in daily life by contemplating on the logical

reasoning.

3) Attain liberation.

First Sutra of nyaya:

There are 16 knowable object known as padartha.

1) Pramana
- is scale
- Process by which you know the object (methodology, process)
- Epistmology
- For us pramana is Veda (SB)
2) Prameya
- is line
- Object or things to be known or measured (For us Krishna)

3) Samsya
- When you get knowledge of something there may be doubt.

- Just by having many many pramana prameya can be understood.

4) Pryojna
- What is the necessity to know prameya.
- What is the purpose?
- Why?

5) Dristanta
- Examples

6) Sidhanta
- Conclusion

7) Avayava
- Constituents of inference
- limbs

8) Tarka
- Hypothetical Arguments
- Both are arguing to find the truth

9) Nirnaya
- Final Conclusion.

10) Vada
- Fruther Discussion.

11) Jalpa
- gossips
- If tarka fails then only thing left is jalpa.

12) Vitand vada

- Irrational Arguments.
- To establish your point.

13) Hetu Abhasa

15) Jati

16) Nigraha Stahana

- Point of distraction.

- Most emphasis thing in nyaya sutra is pramana.

- In vaisesika prameya is discussed in details.

Nyaya accept three pramana ->

- Pratyaksha
- Anumana
- Upmana (Comparision)
- sabda

Prameya:
- There are 12 object to be known

Bondage means to not knowing these 12 objects. When you know these then liberations
come.

Sabda must be alligned with pratyksha.

Philosphy of nyaya:
=====================
1.) matter is eveything.
2.) matter is self-manifesting.
3.) matter is eternal.
4) God is created by men.
5) Talk of spiritual world is lie created by rascals.
6) There is no souls.
7) Karma is eternal.

============================
Arambhvada or Asatkaryavada: Everything there is beginning and there is end for
everything. ==> Nyaya and Vaisesika
============================
God is Adrista ===> He is unseen. God is the personification of the karmas done by
the souls. His only job is give you the
result of karma.

cause and effect

Asat Karyavada=>Arambhavada=>effect does not exist in its cause prior to its

manifestation.=>Doctrine of origin of effects

Sat Karyavada ==> effect exist in its cause prior to its manifestation ==> Accepted
by samkhya

something eternal exist and from that eternal this world come out. Satkaryavad of
two types:
1. Virtual Transformation (Vivartvada) is there
-example of rope and snake. snakes existance is only appearent(virtual).
cause into its effect is only appearent(virtual).
2. Actual Transformation (Prainamvada) is there
-Sankhya Philosphy
-transformation of prakriti

=> Vaishnavas follows sakti parinamvada.

Vairagya Pantha, Shakti Parinam Vaada.
