 It is like a debate where it
provides the stand
 The goal is to persuade (convince)
the readers to believe in what you
believe in.

 A topic must be doubtful or


controversial (Example: Men are
more aggressive than women.)
 Sometimes, students are confused
on how and where to focus their
arguments.

history)
c. Manuals (Guide or SOP)
d. Handbook (policy or rules and
regulation)
e. Books
f. Gov’t reports
g. Scholarly journals
h. Magazines and Newspapers
i. Reliable online sources
(Britannica.com, infoplease.com,
news website, yahoo.com, etc.)
