The Rich Man and the Poor Man
“Food and money I give to you,
Why do you shout so mercily
When I give you your part?”
queried the rich man.
The poor man replied:
“Your question you cannot answer
For from pain and agony you are free,
But I have suffered and borne
The situation that I don’t like to be in.”
“That I couldn’t understand
Because Life for me is easy;
I take this and take that,
And life is just what I want it to be.”
consented the rich man.
“Comfort your mind, rich man,
with realities of death.
Your wealth I do not envy
For you can not buy
eternity with money.
If to live happily
is to live in hypocrisy,
Then I prefer to be silly
so I would be holy.
Life you love so much you will lose
And only then will you understand
What agony is,” the poor man shouted.
“Ha! Ha! Ha! You say so
For you desire this place of mine.
Indulgence you have clouded with reason
But I understand because of your situation.”
boastfully the rich man said.
Outraged the poor man answered:
“How pitiful the person blinded with
pleasure;
No, you don’t care of our journey
That you have created through your
greediness.
Come now, man of weak soul!
Your days are numbered for you to face
The Man of Love.
You may not cry now but later you will
When the chilling reality of the last judgment
Comes across your way;
Yes, then you will pity, but not for me.
Not for anybody else.
But for yourself only!
Yes, eat, drink, and be merry.
For tomorrow you shall die!

 BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Why is it we don’t believe it ourselves?
That as soon as things get tough in our lives
we start doubting ourselves
We start thinking that we may not make it
Stressing, worrying, imagining things that
may go wrong in the future
We need to understand, the human mind is
the most powerful tool we own, but it can
also be the most DESTRUCTIVE
And we need to learn how to take control of
the direction of our mind and our emotions
You mind is going to provide you your
greatest challenges in life, because it is so
powerful
So, if you can conquer your mind, you can
pretty much conquer anything else around
you, literally.
When writing the story of your life – make
sure YOU hold the pen
Make sure not only that you hold the pen,
but you write the script from your heart. Be
brave when writing your script, it’s your
story and there are NO LIMITS to what you
can have, what you can do or what you can
be.
How bad do you want it?
You have to prove it to yourself that you
want it bad enough, it’s gotta hurt you not to
get it.
And that’s when you’re going to learn to
conquer your mind. Your mind will no longer
be able to say no, because your inner heart
and mind are aligned, and now NOTHING
can stop you!
The world needs you to STAND UP – to fight
through your challenging moments,
To SHINE through the dark times
To love through the hate, and to be the
difference in an indifferent world.
To BELIVE IN YOURSELF
Most people are bloated with ordinary
thoughts and mindsets
They’re so full of average that they have no
more appetite
But you have to have an appetite for
EXTRAORDINARY
Beyond what people are doing – think
beyond them
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE DOUBTERS, and
people below you, and people trying to put
you down so they can feel higher, but you
gotta STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF.
BELIEVE in your mind. Have some tunnel
vision.
Then one day you will have your moment.
Because ANYTHING is possible if you just
BELIEVE!
FEED your DREAMS.
If you can suffer through setbacks, through
pain, RISE up with resilience once again, and
again, and again!
ONE DAY THIS WORLD WILL TAP YOU ON
THE SHOULDER & say…”This is your time to
shine”
YOU CAN HAVE BE AND DO ANYTHING YOU
WANT
You just have to believe.

It’s easy to be all positive and consistent

when everything is going your way
But that’s not life, that’s not realistic!
Are you going to be one of the very few to
stand up when things are tough, when
everything is going against you.
Will you be able to believe in what’s right,
and what brings results to your life.
THAT’S WHEN YOUR CHARACTER WILL
SHINE!
THAT’S WHEN YOUR STORY WILL BE BORN!
YOUR story is valuable!
YOUR story of success!

You can’t build a STORY if you stop now. If

you give up.

Psalm of Life
"The Psalm of Life" is a poem by Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow (another personal
favorite) that expresses a beautiful message
of life: to make use of our time on earth, to
pursue dreams, and just LIVE!
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

 FAKE
I got this smile, I skip and I play like a kid.
I'm happy. People think i'm optimistic,
talented and smart. I am religious. I have
many friends.
Do I look like that? Do I? I hope you're
convinced by this synthetic, this fake smile
of mine. Most people envy how perfect my
life is. How I don't have problems and how I
seemed to be fine with everything.
But am I?
I always smile and agree to everything
request. To be fine with everything my so
called friends wanted. Do they know that all
they're seeing is fake?
A mask of fake happiness and glee. That the
only reason is, I cannot say no. have they
thought of my feelings? are they even my
friends?
That every time I see them, I have this smile
that no one ever dared to disbelieve.
This sense of optimism everyone envies? It's
all superficial. In fact, all I think of is
sadness, despair, hate, and often I just can't
go on anymore. Does anyone know that?
Once I told my mom to cut the afternoon
church club meetings, Guess what she
bladed?
No God will be disappointed to you, she said.
I wanted to reply "Well if you put it that
way" or "Sure make me feel guilty. Do I
have a choice?" but all I can do is agree and
pretend I didn't ask anything.
The Saddest part is with all the masks, my
disguises, my covers. . .all the lies. .
.Everyone seems to believe. No one knows
how gloom, how depressed. . .unhappy I
am. No one, none of you people.
None of you dare to doubt
I don't know. . .I if I still know who I am
beneath.
Is it even there? I don't know.
