Dear Ma’am Kathy,

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all the time!

Have a nice day Ma’am Kathy, how are you there? I’m happy to write you
again a letter. I’m also praying that you are in good condition the same with us
here.

I am now already 14 years old and a grade 8 student. My school is just a

minute away from our home. My favorite subject is Mathematics because I love
computing numbers and I want to be a psychologist someday because it is
something to do with observing the behavior of people and how they interact to
the community, because according to some philosopher like Plato and Socrates
our actions have different meanings that’s why I’m interested to learn about
psychology. I proudly want to share that I am rank 3 in our class. I hope that you
are proud of me. How about you Ma’am what bachelor’s degree did you took?

About my family, we are happy. Last September 28, we celebrated my

sister’s birthday, we ate in the restaurant and we played games at the arcade. We
also have bonding moment. We sing together in or karaoke every Sunday or we
used to watch different movies in our television. By the way I have 3 sisters and 4
brothers. 4 of us are still studying. How about your family, how do you spend time
with your family?

Last all Saint’s and all souls day we went to the cemetery and visited my
grandma and my mother’s bother who passed away, we also offered some
prayers for their souls and lit some candles for them. What did you do last
Halloween?
 Sometimes we experience some earthquakes in our place but it was not so
strong. Mindanao which part of the Philippines is shaken by a devastated 6.9
magnitude earthquake. A lot of resources have been damaged. Some have lost
their lives and we are praying for their past recovery. Also we are prone in
typhoons because we are near in the Pacific Ocean. What are the happenings in
your country? Let us pray together for everyone’s safety.

Our country is the host of SEA games or South East Asian Games. We are so
proud of our athlete and we are praying that they will bring home lots of gold
medals. I also dream to be an athlete someday to give honor in my country. What
sport do you like? This coming Christmas I plan to celebrate the birth of our Jesus
Christ together with my family. How about you, what are your plans this coming
Christmas? Let as embrace also the upcoming year with High hope and undying
faith in God.
